I could recreate the box opening, I guess. I think I threw out the plastic bags for the pieces.

This made me laugh :-D

Been MIA. On holidays in Hawaii actually, JUST visited Pearl Harbour today for the first time. Spent from 0900 to 1600 there today. Very moving. Reminding me to check this site, I see that that Alpha 3 is finally finished. I will be updating all these charts when I return home from vacation.
Hope you’re still enjoying your vacation! I thank you for taking the time to make these charts and even more to keep them up to date!
I voted for the Spit Ace. Since is has both Agility and Ace it’s able to cover a very large area and protect any Typhy’s or Artillery you bring.
@Field:
I think the starters retail for $40 and contain 4 planes. Not a serious amount of more in this world. All indications from demo games they have played it is pretty fun.
The Starter contains 6 Planes, 2 Bf-109s, 1 Bf-110, 2 Hurricanes, and 1 Spitfire. The starter also contains the cards for all 31 planes in the set. The boosters contain 3 Random planes.
That sounds Awesome. When I first started getting into AAM that was one of my first thoughts. I wonder if I can use this for the board game some how?
Thank you so much! There’s someone who’s making a 8’x4’ table map to play with the Axis and Allies Miniature/War At Sea game and wanted to know how many of each piece came in the box.
Does anyone know if there is a list of the amount of each piece for each country in E40 & P40? Or know of a place that I could find it? I know it used to say in the instructions but I don’t think it does anymore.
I don’t know if this is a faux pas or not, but check out this forum. They have a pretty good following for this game still.

Go to forumini.wikidot.com/axis-allies-miniatures they have all the cards there. It’s not searchable by set only country but it does tell you which set they are from.
Somebody told me that with UK/ANZAC, you cannot take the DEI Islands if you are not at war with Japan.
Is that true? I never played like that.
They were probably thinking of Japan. Japan can not take them until they are at war with the UK or ANZAC.
I’m not too worried about the canopy being wrong, because it looks more like a late version Stuka. The Rudder is definitely a little small though.

But the transport can still move if it hasn’t used all of it’s movement.
It may only if the the unit that is doing the transporting has the fighting platform special ability.
I’m pretty sure this has been answered somewhere already, but in Alpha 2+ does the Soviet Union still get the 2 free infantry for free in Novosibirsk when at war or has that changed?
@Emperor:
I’m still digesting all the changes, are tanks still 6IPC, I thought I saw something saying it was reduced to 5?
I think what you’re remembering was the AA guns being reduced to 5 IPC’s.
This came up in a game over the weekend.
sub vs sub no one had a destroyer
attacking sub hits….
defending sub
a. returns fire
b. is sunk without a parting shot
Doesn’t the defending Submarine have a chance to submarine have a chance to submerge before combat since there is no attacking destroyer? Or do they both get there “Surprise attack” before it submerges?
