I think I did this right. I’ll scramble the one fighter from Scotland to Sz 111 and two from UK to 110.

I’m slightly confused. I’ve loaded the save you uploaded, now what do I do?

G40 2nd Edition teaching a newb to PBF?posted in Find Online Players
I’m familiar with A&A and have played most of the board games. I’ve played a few games solo on TripleA, and would love a PBF game. I might need some help getting started and what is and isn’t necessary.
I am up for playing either side.

I could recreate the box opening, I guess. I think I threw out the plastic bags for the pieces.

RE: 94Canuck's Global 1940 Alpha +3 Setup Charts and Game Aidsposted in Axis & Allies Global 1940
Been MIA. On holidays in Hawaii actually, JUST visited Pearl Harbour today for the first time. Spent from 0900 to 1600 there today. Very moving. Reminding me to check this site, I see that that Alpha 3 is finally finished. I will be updating all these charts when I return home from vacation.
Hope you’re still enjoying your vacation! I thank you for taking the time to make these charts and even more to keep them up to date!

I voted for the Spit Ace. Since is has both Agility and Ace it’s able to cover a very large area and protect any Typhy’s or Artillery you bring.

RE: A20 Opening Salvo Part 3 & Part 4posted in Air Force
@Field:
I think the starters retail for $40 and contain 4 planes. Not a serious amount of more in this world. All indications from demo games they have played it is pretty fun.
The Starter contains 6 Planes, 2 Bf-109s, 1 Bf-110, 2 Hurricanes, and 1 Spitfire. The starter also contains the cards for all 31 planes in the set. The boosters contain 3 Random planes.

That sounds Awesome. When I first started getting into AAM that was one of my first thoughts. I wonder if I can use this for the board game some how?

RE: Number of pieces in the boxposted in Axis & Allies Global 1940
Thank you so much! There’s someone who’s making a 8’x4’ table map to play with the Axis and Allies Miniature/War At Sea game and wanted to know how many of each piece came in the box.

Number of pieces in the boxposted in Axis & Allies Global 1940
Does anyone know if there is a list of the amount of each piece for each country in E40 & P40? Or know of a place that I could find it? I know it used to say in the instructions but I don’t think it does anymore.

I don’t know if this is a faux pas or not, but check out this forum. They have a pretty good following for this game still.

Go to forumini.wikidot.com/axis-allies-miniatures they have all the cards there. It’s not searchable by set only country but it does tell you which set they are from.

RE: AAG40 FAQposted in Axis & Allies Global 1940
Somebody told me that with UK/ANZAC, you cannot take the DEI Islands if you are not at war with Japan.
Is that true? I never played like that.
They were probably thinking of Japan. Japan can not take them until they are at war with the UK or ANZAC.

I’m not too worried about the canopy being wrong, because it looks more like a late version Stuka. The Rudder is definitely a little small though.

But the transport can still move if it hasn’t used all of it’s movement.
