      YG…. Your lucky I didn’t use a third bracket within a bracket, a fourth or even a fifth. Come to think of it, if you don’t watch your mouth, I might just attack you in our FMGC 2012 game or crap in your corn flakes (Now come on, who is that evil only me!)

      as for a theme song… From us to you…

      YG is right! You have no idea the depths of my scumary, (you like how I just created a word there). When your this evil you can do poop like that. I also eat your scummy friends for brunch (yeah there not scumfull (another new word) enough to deserve a breakfast and or lunch devouring). So their stuck with being a brunch-time appetizer.

      Also YG I will use whatever nation you feel I am best with. We will no doubt get in another 1 on 1 match before April.

      @Gargantua:

      He can only shoot one bombardment per landing infantry…

      I know! it’s still an interesting idea! and different to say the least.

      @Dawkland:

      I’ll give credit to my friend who came up with a technique for pecking infantry away.  He kept attacking with 3 inf every turn taking amphibious shots with the stack of cruisers he had.  It got annoying because he was taking out anywhere between 2 and 7 inf a round

      Awesome idea!

    • RE: Take Calcutta J4

      No transports=not worried
      Transports=a solid infantry defense of Japan’s mainland

      At least that’s how it works in my experience

      @theROCmonster:

      US starts with 3. Building 1-2 transports would be well worth it and the rest just warships.

      Yes, but in order to cripple the Japanese the U.S. needs roughly 2 convoys of at least 3 or 4 fully loaded transports and the ability to protect them. Smashing the Japanese fleet is good but realistically if Japan has situated a massive army inland Asia then it really doesn’t accomplish a whole lot as they really don’t need a navy. This is especially true if Japan has a couple factories on the mainland. The U.S. can sail around the Pacific all day long and not really accomplish a whole lot.

    • RE: Take Calcutta J4

      You can still demolish China and take India J4 with a minimal economic loss. I’d actually say that this is a must for Japan! Even with a complete Pacific strategy, the U.S. can’t really do much to Japan until round 5 or 6. Sure they might have a massive offensive fleet but at the expense of a transport army which without, the U.S. is useless. If they do have a transport army then they must have sacrificed war ships and are vulnerable to an assault by the Japanese fleet.

    • RE: Best way to Barb the Russkies?

      agreed!
      You only need 1 stack to drive to Moscow, splitting them up leaves you vulnerable. Also, use the Italians for a 1,2 assault. They can clean up areas like Ukraine/ Stalingrad to gain some IPC’s and remove them from Russia. Sometimes I leave vulnerable Italian units in range of a Russian counter attack in the hopes they try it. I have my German army strategically positioned so that if the Russians attack my Italians, I lose them but the German army mops the floor with what’s left and it’s not even on a German turn.

      If you really want to take the Russians down quick, use a moderate size Japanese force to push West for major Russian IPC losses and an ALMOST unstoppable 3 nation assault.

    • RE: How likely should Sealion be?

      20-40% because of historical accuracy. It would actually be even less than that but it’s important to have a “game”. On the other hand I don’t think a failed Sealion should be “game over” as it was NOT the end of The German charge. Not sure how it would work but I’d like to see it.

      F*** ME! I never knew you were young grasshopper T. that is hilarious I couldn’t remember who you were on here but I would have never guessed. The best part is…. I was strongly considering using a variation of your G1 on this thread against you on Saturday. I guess a massive adjustment is necessary. CLASSIC! LOL

    • RE: G1 Strategy Blue Print

      This is the best topic I’ve seen in a while, well done YG!
      I totally agree with your idea and think that anyone can post their remedy for world domination but far too often there is no meat to the discussion. This method gives people a chance to observe the strategy phase by phase and then critique or try and counter it as they see fit. In my experience anyone claiming to totally demolish their opponent in less than 6 rounds is either lying, playing a weak opponent, dealing with someone who surrenders too fast, or has one hell of a horseshoe up their @ss

      On a secondary note, it is spelled colour (hehehehe) and,

      I love your dice mind tricks. My friend is what we’ve coined a “pre-roller” what that means is…. he picks up the dice and roles them all, selects the 1’s, and 2’s and then makes his actual role with those dice. He is always fair about it and will either say he is only pre-rolling or roll the dice in a previously discussed pre-rolling location like inside the box rather than outside (when it’s considered his actual role). I find it really funny but he gets results this way? who knew? I only got frustrated when he started pre-rolling his pre-rolls! enough is enough!
