Is really a lot to take in, and a lot of rules feel.not natural yet, guess we have to play a few more rounds to give a verdict. But is fun to play sth else.

Listening to a song about the often forgotten battle in the alps while taking Milan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yADOuFcDvHQ&ab_channel=Zadkiel1267
Google-translated lyrics:
We carried the cannon
in pieces through the mud.
First with singing, then without
up to the top of the ridge. We patched them up
in the foggy home of ice and firn.
The hands full of bruises
cold sweat on my forehead.Every time
when I was on my own
Every time
when cold ate through clothes
Every time
I carried it protectively like a shield
I held Dorina’s picture.Some became snow blind.
Many have frozen to death.
In the icy cold wind
my neighbor got lost.I sat there like a corpse
motionless for hours.
My eyes played tricks
saw ghosts there on the slope. In the light of flickering lanterns
lie listening posts and listen.
In tunnels, deep in ice caverns
hear the glaciers rushing. We are not alone here
You can hear him digging at night.
The enemy digs into the rock
is hammering and scraping. He tirelessly hauls tons
of explosives in the shaft.
As bright as 1000 suns
the explosion rips apart the night. With one hit
shatter bones, rock and steel.
With one hit
the glacier races down into the valley.
With one hit
bodies fall on rock.
With one hit
suddenly calm returns. It’s like in my dreams.
I lie on my back in the tall grass
in the field under trees
where I often sat with her.In her summer dress she steps into the light of me.
The sun is shining on our faces.
She looks at me, smiles mildly.
One last time

@fmerwinrommel Yes, makes sense to some degree, but in my cases I added a die, because:
- I knew what i was getting if i got a hit (mustard gas)
- Mustard gas is needed badly now for my next moves (get your masks out dear entente)
- I kinda had a clairvoyance induced vision that I would be stupidly rich next go, so I thought: “what the hell…” ;-)

@fmerwinrommel fun fact from my trip. Earlier last month we were at Friedrichshafen at the very south of Germany and saw a real Zeppelin flying over us.

I simply fear that the weakest player is just wiped out and then we can likely give up.
On the other hand, if an Entente Player gets crippled is of no big consequence. But a Central Player who only goes for defense only early on puts a clock on any chance Centrals have on victory.
Entente win the game when Centrals cannot advance any further, so a stalemate helps them - Centrals need to overcome the ridiculous cheap defenses of the game to make progress.

@fmerwinrommel said in NML 1914 - Team Game #2:
@elrood Just noticed a major problem with giving T 15 naval PU. T can build 2 tt’s and with bombardment, force Serbia to build more in Gre and less in Belgrade, or build in Belgrade and abandon Mace to guard Gre. Then, the tt by Cyprus makes it 3 tt’s on round 2. We saw how the rapid collapse of Serb greatly benefited Austria in our first game.
What do the rest of the Allies think?Just out of curiousity I checked the odds.
Say Fre or Ser were successful in sinking the turk TT already on the map…
If Turks have 2 additional TTs then Turks can land with 3 Inf, 1 Art in greece and bombard with 2 ships. If Serbs dont move to greece or build anything there, then the odds for that attack are about 30%. One more Inf in Greece reduces it to 10%.My point is. Losing greece is TOTALLY in Serbs hands, as they can freely move anything there to protect their capital. It was lost in our earlier instance of the game, because Serbs moved pretty much all out, despite failing to kill the turkish TT at Cyprus. It was still a 50% battle if I recall… 3 Serb inf against 1 Turk Art + Inf and 2 Bombardments. Turks got super lucky, yes. But Serbs simply overlooked that chance somehow.
Even if I added 2 TTs which I would not do, since it can be countered by smart Entente play and when UK simply builds a few ships the TTs will have to go to Black Sea and will be nearly useless.
So stop whining ya all! :-p

@fmerwinrommel Didn’t realize I had hired a writer to capture my path to victory!
I imagine a voice like Morgan Freemans in Shawshank. “And Witt suddenly realized that his journey on the side of Entente would be a long and cold one.”
