Fyi. German arms manufacturer Rheinmetal introduced it earlier this year.

I thought some of you might enjoy this. :-)

@CentralCommando I suspect Chinese hackers seeing what we play and what unimportant role China plays in A&A… and they are like „wtf? Just you wait and see what the great China is capable of!“

I imagine it a bit like this: (Seinfeld - Kramer) https://youtu.be/fzLtF_PxbYw?si=0QU6y-RCUB8fOsf3

      „China is joke to you?!“

Damn… misclicked and sent too early…

Anyways… I know that words typed are often misinterpreted by the reader since so much human context is missing. I know there is some tension here about some remarks and it is not something new in this group…

In our daily lives I guess we all have to deal with people e.g. coworkers we do not much care for and learned to deal with them.

All of us here kn this forum love this small niche of a game and are happy we found some nerds to play with.

What I am trying to bring across is, can we not all take a step back, talk it out if necessary and come up with some simple rules to help us work with each other?

It is easy to just end some relationship and be done with it, but is a bridge not easily rebuilt.

I do not want to see such a small community get splintered by something that can be addressed by civil means without going nuclear…

I don’t know, I was told it used to be that guys fought it out and then laughed about it over a beer later, not sure what the online equivalent would be, but I would prefer that, before parting ways for good.

      Just my humble opinion…

Could the 4 units in Jutland be moved to Holstein and the 4 units in Finland be put in Karelia?

Waaaa? But that influences my whole move!!! Impossible!!

      …

      …

      …

just kidding. ;-) I see no reason why not.

@karl7 i just read up on it… it started in Germany in 1991…aaand first iraqi war was the reason! :-O

Carnival in februar was cancelled due to the war, but all costumes and whatnot were already produced, so some clever business guys said: “let us push halloween in october to salvage the situation and limit our losses”… and it stuck with us ever since.

      Funny

@fmerwinrommel my fathers father came back from Russia in 1949… I just remember him as an old guy sitting in his chair not saying much during family gatherings. My older brothers visited him once without a pretext or some anniversary or so and talked to him. And he started to open up about the stuff he experienced during the War and in prison camp. My brother was really taken aback and dove into it. He told me just some cliff notes later… I was really young (my brother is 9 years older), sadly
I never had the chance to have such talk with my grandpa, since he passed shortly after and I was simply to young to care about war stories. then. Shame about all these stories that are lost forever without being heard.
