Is this part of the old virus or a new one?

Gee he’s from Berkely the “bastion of Conservative” values. Did he goto woodstock too? Wait hes a doctor as well… and probably against the war in Iraq and a profound enviromentalist “clear out the herd” type. And he probably hates likes Girley men and hates German Nazis like the terminator-- i mean Governor whos poll numbers are slumping due to illegal funding from labour unions who are also liberal, all the while totally outspending him on adds by stealing $60 bucks from each its union members. We just need that rats Boxer and Feinstein to round out the triumphant procession of losers trying to build power for dead values and are proven wrong every day.

Shortly after Moses Bittok, of West Des Moines, took the oath of citizenship on Friday, he discovered he had a $1.89 million winning ticket from the Iowa Lottery’s Hot Lotto game.

“It’s almost like you adopted a country and then they netted you $1.8 million,” Bittok said Monday as he cashed in his ticket.

actually, it was more like $1.9 million

As is Bjorn Lomborg, Jane Roe(Roe v. Wade) and

a lot of Democrat office holders since 1998(?).

I seem to recall that Charles Darwin changed his mind in his latter years as did a recently deceased agnostic.

      What was his name?

I think that the system should stay the way it is. The states should ask for assistance. If they don’t it’s their fault, not the federal government. We do not need to have more bureacracy. Personally, I believe it was the Louisiana’s fault the situation wasn’t handled properly along with FEMA. It would be a violation of states’ rights to use Bush’s plan imo.

      EXCERPT
Clinton seems to have found his role as facilitator-in-chief, urging us to give up our deadly national passivity(LJ Note : A Clinton trademark…no economic initiatives, no energy policy, no move on Osami bint Lami, no response but words to the first WTC attack[1993], a chicken run from Mogadeshu with only high tech low results battles/wars, including Yugoslopia, for the remainder of his term.) and start thinking things through for ourselves. Commandeering the role of government through civic action suddenly feels like a very empowering notion – the alternative being to find oneself stranded in a flood waving a shirt from a rooftop(LJ NOTE : Thanks to decades of Louisiana state and local Democrat misappropriation and mismanagement of Levy repair funds.)
      …

The White House doesn’t seem to realize it yet, but we are entering a post-spin era in public life(LJ NOTE : The Clinspin machine geared up his last year in office. Recall/google the Clinton attempt at a Middleeast solution…Yassar turned down an offer of 98% of everything he wanted. Since Clinton’s Reaper Visit he has revved it up to CLINSPIN). The shift has long been underway in the business world, propelled by the Enron catastrophe and the collapse of the (LJ NOTE : CLINTON) dot-com bubble. Process, not perception(LJ NOTE : Sounds like the liberal classroom…“Process , not result,”) is king in boardrooms today. After so much corporate malfeasance it all got too dire to put up with fake CEOs anymore. (LJ NOTE : Google the timeline. The malfeasance was during the Clinton years, while the the cleanup occured during the W years.)
      …

The irony is that no one would have believed that Clinton – the king of spin, who went out under a cloud of indecency five years ago – could climb back to such credibility. …he’s backlit now by his disciplined handling of the economy(LJ NOTE : A Republican US Congress held his feet to the fire and he trumpeted his accomplishment.), the unsought(LJ NOTE : Read as INCORRECT.) comparisons of how well FEMA used to perform under his watch and the enlightened(LJ Note : Last Chance! Redemption) nature of his global activism.
      …

On Clinton’s face these days is a look of wry, judicious knowingness(LJ NOTE : William Jefferson Clinton will win an Academy Award. A feat never accomplished by Ronald Reagan[ http://www.reelclassics.com/Actors/Reagan/reagan.htm ].) It’s the look of political wisdom, and it imparted to his conference’s departing crowd something like serenity.
      (LJ NOTE : He’s ba-acck!!)

      What do you believe? Sources.

Rumor has it that between 30 and 50 briefcase nukes(BCN) are out there. Speculation is that some of them may alrady be in the US.

If so why haven’t they been used to further the warped “Will of Allah?” (Note the bold emphasis.)

I took less than 1/2 hour to pick 30 North American target cities/events…some of which would receive more than 1 BCN. As I typed the original topic(lost to the virus) I thought of five alternative targets. Four of these cities/events are about 100 miles(160 kilometers) of my home.

i was pleasently surprised at your listed “problems for continuing the trade embargo” - particularly number 4. Given this new perspective on the type of person i took you for, i was then re-disappointed with your subsequent posts

The truth must be enabled and tempered by both sides so it can be clearly seen like a forest thru the trees. My “experience” takes into account “your” sensibilities but the conclusions are different because we are arriving from different footpaths in the forest of our ideas. I hope that i disappointed you because to believe as you do i would be unable to leave this forest at night…

I watch Fox, CNN, BBC and ABC when I can. I figure between the four of them, I get the vast majority of the actual facts and they’ll contradict each other on their spin. Kinda like white noise filtering out the spin while the facts slip through.

Agencies I avoid like the plague:

CBS (can we say Dan Rather? Can we say 3 instances of falsified reports either purposly or because of ineptitude in their reporting ability during the elections? Can we say spin???)

I also tend to avoid NBC/MSNBC mainly because it’s owned by Microsoft and I don’t trust corporations that sell products or services to protray the news correctly.

While I have tons of reasons to distrust Spanish, French, German and Canadian news agencies, from their actual papers, I’ll refrain from specifics because I don’t have enough time to sit around scanning articles into PDF form and posting them right now. Suffice it to say, the fiction they print in their daily periodicals is humorous at best, evil at worst.

His early material was excellent. Sean Penn was great in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Bad Boys, and At Close Range, but other than that, crap.

Dead Man Walking, The Translator, The Assassination of Richard Nixon and The Thin Red Line.

Thin Red Line was crap, Mary. But you’re right about the rest.

I might be inclined to agree if CNN, Fox and ABC news medias were not reporting this exact thing.
