      Now that is a game that would be fun to play, I only saw one copy and it was in a store for $200. Now I like board games but that is ridiculous, hopefully that could be reprinted so we could get a game with modern units.

      but if you had to choose between the two then artillery. they should really never have any territories left that are more than two spaces away from india anyways. Artillery allow you the ability to attack, while mech inf give you the ability to move lots. Although India should do little of each, it’s conceivable to be doing an attack or two before you die. But not a huge movement.

      @Imperious:

      No he died of old age in Baltimore. He spent his last days riding the bus back and forth talking about the ‘good old days’.

      I hear they saved his Brain and used it in a movie as a prop. So perhaps he still lives in B- Movie glory.

      thats kind of disturbing

      I just picked up a copy from FMG. Great game, although I do think PA140 is better, if you’ve only got the cash for one.

      @idk_iam_swiss:

      ? hows that possible? they cant attack AND deploy infantry.

      Page 12 of the Rulebook: “Paratroopers. (…) The bomber may still attack during the conduct combat phase but may not perform a strategic bombing run in a turn that transports an infantry unit”

      Historically, I think it’s to signify Mongolian indifference to the Sino-Japanese war, and its animosity towards both countries (Japan attempted an invasion in 1939 I think, and were repelled with Soviet assistance, and the Mongols had been ruled by the Qing dynasty for so long, and their brethren in inner Mongolia were still being subjugated by the Chinese). For the strategic purposes of the game, Hobbes is correct, Mongolia serves to separate the northern and central routes of the Japanese advance on Moscow, same as what the Himalaya territory does in the south.

      @Krupp:

      Any word on whether there will be more than just infantry that pop up on these neutrals when they  are activated?

      I think just infantry, what were you hoping for?

      @UN:

      And yeah, their technology did suck; I once heard that a bullet from a pistol would punch through the armor of an WWII Italian tank. Not sure if it’s true, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was.

      The Japanese were quite similar. It was like their tanks were made of bamboo or something. Not very well protectd. Then again, they did not need tanks the way everyone else did…

      @Fishmoto37:

      Sounds like this game lasted way too long. If ANZAC is moving infantry into India and taking Indo-China then Japan is already defeated. Start a new game! @Dylan:

      I was the Allies and won that was cool, but I need to know if it was good luck of good strategy. It started off with China trading the Burma road or whatever and China holding the front line at any cost. Then when the other 3 declared war Britain assisted China as much as possible and the US in Manila and the Australian’s knocked out the Japanese in the Southern Pacific and the US in the rest. Australia then transported whatever they could into India. Australia had as much troops as they could now into India they captured French Indo China built a Minor industry and knocked the Japanese out of Asia and captured Korea with a minor industry. The bored Chinese army kept reinforcing the Pacific Asian border and helped Australia hold Korea along with Britain. Britain started bombing Japan while Australia worked on a massive fleet. Australia then lost in a failed attack to knock out the Japanese fleet. The US then finished Japan’s fleet off. the United States and Australia now were reinforcing Korea while Britain reinforced Shanghai and India. The US then started daily bombings on Tokyo, soon assisted by Australia. Britain left Asia because there were enough Chinese stranded they went to Okinawa to land there troops. Japan were weakened enough Britain attacked it with a few planes and failed. Australia then killed a lot of it, but then the US stole the show.

      I did start a new game and India fell right away China kept on fighting at all costs and the US player way doing okay, but ANZAC was crushed and the US and Japan had a huge navy battle both had heavy casualties, but the US won. China then made a do or die move which was die (of course) and the US lost Alaska and Yukon. I felt like I couldn’t lose British Columbia (because I live there), but got assraped and Western USA wasn’t able to hold out which they were able to send in full army at Hawaii.  :-(

      All of the Dutch “places” are islands, so no, you can’t build ICs on “Dutch places”, but only because they’re islands, not because they originally belonged to another country.  For instance, both the Allies and Japan have the option of building an IC on French Indo-China if they gain control of that territory.

      ?

      Yeah but you are trying to just throw a bunch of random countries together to create some kind of Frankenstein country just so that there will be enough IPC’s to make it viable. It is not very realistic and furthermore, we don’t need any more powers.
