    • Did Stalin Speak English

      If you look at the meetings with him, Roosevelt, and Churchill you see they seem to be talking so was Stalin able to speak English?

    • RE: Playing Axis and Allies with real bills?

      @Imperious:

      Why do that? Are you saying people get to keep the money and just save it and go home, or the game is now a gambling concept, where the money you finish with allows players to keep?

      We used to use coins for IPC since they were durable and nobody would steal dimes and quarters.

      Just buy HBG currency, its better than OOB paper money

      Gambling.

    • Playing Axis and Allies with real bills?

      This might not work with Global, but for the other games.

      For example in Spring 42’ the Russian player would buy in with $24, Germany would buy in with $40, Britain would buy in with $30, Japan would buy in with $30, the US would buy in with $42. Just say you have to spend all your money on each turn and you can’t save. Just put in an extra $20 or more.

    • RE: Is this the worse game?

      @empireman:

      I played G40, E40, P40, 1942, Classic, Revised, D-day, Anniversary, and 2nd Edition

      My order of my favorite:

      G40
      E40 (just slightly better than P40)
      P40
      Anniversary
      1942
      Revised
      D-day
      Classic
      2nd Edition

      Dunno, but in my opinion P40 is too unbalanced. I’d also probably put the Anniversary addition over E40.

      @Deaths:

      Whats funny is, look at the top countries and then think to your selves how much the US has influenced those economies and such, But yet the USA is the bad guys right now

      And look at the bottom.

      Iran, Pakistan, North Korea, and Russia are enemies of the US.

      @Gargantua:

      Interesting comments Dylan.

      If America had stayed Neutral with Germany, I wonder how different things would have been.

      No Operation Torch….  No Italian Campaign,  No D-day/Normandy, or atleast how we think of it.

      WOW.

      I think post war there would be no communism, but the US will have to worry about the spread of Nazism. However, I think it would be more unstable and collapse earlier.

    • RE: Worst Axis Mistake

      From the German perspective was declaring war on the US.

      The Pacific/Asian front I don’t think benefited nor hurt the Axis in Europe.

      I think Germany could of handled Russia and Britain. Even though Japan might have been destroyed.

      Much like the movie “Fatherland”
