Dutch, you coulda asked, I coulda warned you that having ONE child under 15 months is a life kill - two is more like having the work of three! lol.

As far as I remember the installer does not include Global maps, as it was published before Global maps were created.

Well, thank you for the high compliment.  Although, I am still learning G40, so I dont think I have earned any praise in that regard as yet.  I played one live on the Triplea server over the weekend and got housed, so I am still trying to figure it out.

Let’s do this, next week lets start the game again on the open forum (I’m not doing any league this year), let’s use the same set up and purchase and start fresh with the combat moves for G1 and we can see how it plays out.

yes, i think you played that very well, but i don’t think that the axis game is that easy against a good russia player, i like your tactic though and you played it very well, with different dice here and there it could’ve been a very different game - am curious how it would’ve developed if the dice would’ve been different the last round and a half, it would definitively have relieved most of the pressure on germany, but russia was so strong, so don’t know

That was a pretty sick defense in Poland.  Those fighters are some serious aces.  Tough dice for the Allies on the Europe board there on that round.

Good game, man.  G40 is a brain cramp from hell. Tough to see everything and all possibilities. You got a tough break on UK1 off Naples.  Now I know to park 2 German fighters there.  8-)

No problem.  I had some good dice go my way too.

Usually not he best idea to split with the US.  You can go all Atl, and then all pack after 2 or 3 rounds, but if you start splitting early, it is a drain… Take a look at the team game you and your son played against me and my brother… that was a good strat for Allies.  Also, all Pac with US can be deadly… Boldfresh got me on a good one.  Allies are a but tougher than the Allies is Anni, even with the bid.
