My dad has some CRAZY old diplomacy game, I think it must be made in the 60s, I’ll check sometime how old it is.

I think the Metal Gear Solid games are awesome. I have a PS2 and I’d say my favourite game for it is MGS2, the graphics are so good, and it’s much more realistic than any FPS.

Looks awesome. I think you’d have to alter the range of bombers and fighters though.

I (hopefully) play once a month. I’m not sure how long the games last, sometimes one night, sometimes one week.

Battle of the Somme in WWI had something like 70 000 dead British in day.

The game is OK but is very hard for the axis, the game also unneedlessly complex.

Germany only needs to take ONE allied capital. The allies need to take Berlin.

I’m Canadian, and I completely agree Janus1.

In lord of the rings risk the game is a limited time (until the ring is destroyed).

It depends on how aggressive the allies are being to you and your ally. If they are too aggressive with Japan, head for Moscow.

If you’ve got 3 I would say Europe as one plays the Germans, one as the Russians, and the others as the Anglo-American forces.

For 2 or 5 I’d say World, 4 is good for either.

2 great games from the 70’s. Panzers is all about tactical warfare on the western front, Luftwaffe is about the allies bombing Germany.
Both excellent, not quite as good as A&A or A&AE but still good.

I think that the American and Japanese are too good and Germany’s is not good enough (I mean Rommel really was brilliant).

They don’t really do to much, they can just escape and get back home, I’m just a great fan of The Great Escape. POWs don’t impact the game much they’re just a neat little rule.

Well as Britain I bomb Germany constantly to lower their IPCs.
But I see what you mean, whichever game I play like this Germany gets really strong, but once Japan falls, America and Britain have it in the bag.
