can land troop move across the canal from africa to asia?

i once played A&A this way, and it was rather fun. alltho i was on the winning side.

we played where once a capital was gone, that team was done, period, no returning at all.

GB, germany and US allied. me as great britain. we basicly poned up on russia, then focused on japan.

but the great twist was that i broke the alliancat the end.

we also played w/ liquidation rules, where u can kill your troops and receive money for them (i know its un realistic, but its fun sometimes). japan liquidated everything that wasnt on japan, and placed inf on japan; they ended up w/ like 60 inf on japan!!!

in response, US liquidated all non pacific forces, as did germany. and i was expected to as well

i had a loaded transport in the gulf of mexico on its way to the pacific and of course one in briton still. i simply made an alliance w/ japan, and sent troops to EUS and germany, ending the game.

it was quite anticlimactic, but rather humorous for me and japan.

y not just put a marker under the tanks instead of mutilating the poor panzers?

yea, playin w/o japan is a bad idea. as is playing w/o america.

take out japan, and us has no threat at all. no need for a pacific fleet, and can concentrate solely on europe and if they choose, africa.

take out US and it’s the opposite. japan has no enemy, and no reason for a pacific fleet. thus they can send thier pacific fleet and empty their island posessions to the indian ocean for india or africa, and push for russia.

i’d like to see some of the setup’s for and italian included game

i basicly meant to say that just cuz germany can afford to put unemployment checks so high, doesnt mean that the US can do the same

the comparrison was just to show that u get more for not working in germany than for working at mcdonalds in america.

isnt f_alk from germany?

isnt the unemployment rate in germany a LOT higher than us minimum wage?

doesnt germany have basicly a monopoly on the cruise ship builing industry?

if im rite about all of these, then: I’m sry dude, not all countryies can afford t have an unemployment check that high, get over it.
