something that just bugged me

in the picture of the game in progress at the beginning of the rulebook, there is a grand total of 0 dive bombers and fighters on the board

got 2 copies from coolstuff today…

I agree with all that has been said about how the russian aircraft are too valuable, and, looking ahead, taking out the German navy just encourages the German player to not buy a navy. Every IPC put toward a navy, at least in my opinion, is one not put towards the eastern front.
Plus, I cannot see another really good place to attack with the British aircraft R1 anyway, so why not use them to kill the fleet?

there are watermarked squares on the board the size of the kamikaze markers…
My guess that the Japanese player places them at the beginning of the game. You can make kamikaze attacks in these sea zones.

i normally give them italy
it’s the smallest country, sure, but they get to fool around with a navy (until someone decides to destroy it), all the naval combat and such, amphibious assults if there is no egy G1
They can expand into Africa, and provide can opener for Germany, or defend France

A couple of things for them to do, not too complex, and this way, their wasting only 10-20 of the Axis IPC’s, whereas with another country they could be wasting a lot more

i really don’t think Russia will go first. After all, its 1940, so their armies in confusion.

maybe if everyone buys like five copies of the game, they might realize that people buy it, and then actually put some support behind it

maybe they could make a tech like advanced artillery for detection, so its one destroyer per sub, but with the tech, you get two or three subs per destroyer

There is not much left, I wonder if the Dutch in AA40P will just be there own units(color). You won’t be able to add to them so once they’re gone they’re gone. This doesn’t make sense because when liberated who gets them (ipc’s). They would have to go to either UK or Anzac right. You wouldn’t want US to liberate them to get more ipc’s.

In the pictures on the board, Mongolia is a neutral country. Furthermore, I can see, in several of the territories, outlines of infantry with a number next to it. I take this to be the number of infantry set up in the country at the start. However, the territories have no ipc value. Does this mean that even if some country were to attack, they would gain no ipcs for holding the territory?

I recall reading that all neutrals have one of three settings, pro Allies, pro Axis, and true neutral. I would really like to know some more about the neutrals, aside from the fact they exist. For instance, if I wish, could I have America invade Peru? (Just a thought).
Any Help?
