Hi! I am living in Midlothian Va. near Richmond Va. I have a huge interest in WW2, especially global simulations. I prefer some of the newer mods, I am just getting into TripleA and I spent years developing my own game that is played on board for “The Wargame”. My rules eventually grew to 40 pages, but that includes the basic AxAly rules, pictures and at Times Roman 12 font. I am looking for anyone who wants to play most any version of Axis and Allies within about 50 miles. I look forward to discussions on WW II and game design. I have played a lot of games, but I am new to online. By the way I am 66.

@AndrewAAGamer I am currently playing Tripe A solitaire to get a feel for the game. I plan on contacting some people for Triple A and doing a better job of introducing myself in a week or so. I am so happy to have found this site.

Hi, my name is Jack. I am new to this site. I have played 50th Anniversary Axis and Allies, Axis and Allies original and various versions of “The Wargame” by Jeffery Stein. I loved that board so much that I started making minor changes to rules, which lead to major changes, which lead to frustration. I gave up and spent 2 years writing and rewriting rules, which lead to playtests, which lead to another year of writing and rewriting. Finally in 2019, my friends and I played a great game that everyone enjoyed. (The Allies won when Japan fell. Germany was still kicking A__.) Then Covid happened, then politics happened, and life happened.
I am looking for face to face games within an hour, perhaps more of Richmond Virginia. I am also looking for online opponents of Global 1940 2nd edition.
I love the scale of Axis and Allies, the simplicity of it’s combat and unit production. I have also played Squad Leader, Terrible Swift Sword, Panzer Blitz and a bunch of other stuff. I am working to get up to speed on Global 1940 as it is the most similar to what I was playing.

I play using Triple A with a friend I met through this site. It works pretty well. I have lost a lot of games to this guy. I have won 3 or four and it keeps my brain alive.

@Panther I am currently playing1940 global war on TripleA. I am not playing anything face to face. My friends have retired from gaming. That was unexpected. I am looking for someone within an hour of Richmond. I have a 1940 Europe game, I would like to play with someone.
