even a mediocre player can hold off the mass of america long enough to let japan squash em, if the uk sea zone isnt allied then the game is pretty much over already unless they can capture it bc that spot is pivotal for the success of any invasions into europe

military ships to protect cruise vessels? did i understand u right? do u have any idea how badly that would hurt that industry if it had to have armed escorts w/ em everywhere. people go on cruises to relax, not look out and see small military ships guarding em

yep alpha centari is great^_^ first game i played took me an entire day and lasted god what must have been a 1000 yrs before i nuked every other person out of existance :oops: but of course they all had it coming to em :wink:

france and germany actually agree on something and germany is the voice of reason :o worlds coming to an end :P

i can see the insults on france, they need to take a hint;) but thats just wrong w/ germany. the country is morally devastated bc of the horrors that it unknowingly helped in.

i like europe simply bc im a german guy and pacific doesnt have em^_^ but its to short playtime being over w/in like 4-5 turns. takes longer to set up the dern board

as all things the allies can make more so yeah it may give a temp advantage but its a smaller deal then ur making it
