- The site started in 1997 in the ~home directory for my college web account.
- The domain was purchased in 1998.
- The site went live as Axis and Allies.org in 2000

Twitter is a form of social media. You post messages to your twitter account and anybody following you will see those messages. It’s similar to updating your status in Facebook.
