@reloader-1 I didn’t realize there was playtesting for this. I might be more useful on a “generic-themed” A&A game than North Africa. I feel like all the playtesters are history buffs, except me.

No, they are referring to Axis & Allies full stop – not miniatures. This game will be “GI Joe (powered by Axis & Allies)”. It’s a light area control, dice battle game. I’m imagining 1941 with GI Joe using whatever land masses or territories that are in the GI Joe universe.

The industries refers to any little plastic pieces as miniatures.

I’ll try to get an article and maybe an interview up soon to clarify.

I’ll probably buy a copy of this GI Joe game inspired by A&A.

@Imperious-Leader Is there another font that is similar or close? I found this font but it seems to be incompatible with several programs. Corrupted file or some such thing.

Big Announcement

Many of you wait until December to get your badge but that only gives you 1 month of the special benefits. (It’s too difficult to add and remove benefits throughout the year). So, I’ve decided that we will end the 2023 Drive on November 30 and start 2024 on December 1. It’s also a little better timing given New Year’s and all.

@KnowMad IIRC the next major Anniversary is next year in 2024 so maybe it will be released then.

IMO, 1942SE should be deprecated in favor of 1942 Third Edition which should be Anniversary Ed with some of the updated rules for AAA guns, etc. But that’s just my opinion; only Renegade knows what is in store for A&A.

@Panther Yes, there’s usually breaking changes in major releases. There is definitely another one in NodeBB 3.x so let’s now raise it until we upgrade again. I’ll do it before the end of the week.

The main problem is that TripleA is not interesting in upgrading their own forums for PBF. Despite the fact that that is a security problem.
