See where it says “It’s time to support the site with an annual donation and get your badge!” on your messages but nobody else has that? That’s a Gold perk.
How about this:
I could offer a $120/year level but I’m not sure what perks to add beyond what Gold offers. Maybe you can choose 1-2 people to qualify for more league games and playoffs?

I tried to YouTube, it failed. I recorded a “show” where I went over the origin story of the site. It took 5 takes. Then I wanted to add some screenshots of the old site; I never got to it. Then I rewatched the video, I was doing something weird with my mouth and the zoom level was too high. <sigh> 🤦♂️
BTW, if you see your name on the list but are missing your badge, you should be able to make it visible on your own. What this situation means is that I forgot the final step.

I would like to organize an Axis & Allies (World) Cup.

This theme on NodeBB seems to be un or under-supported in the latest release. I might have to switch but people are not going to like it … which might include me. :-(

@Midnight_Reaper I’m good, thanks for asking. The holiday season was just very busy. I also got knocked out by some non-COVID cold in October.
Several costs for running this site have gone up in the past few years. For instance hosting went up and now we have to pay for our Gmail (Google for Work) account, which used to be free for over a decade. Traffic is down so ads are down; 2 sponsors stopped paying; and we collected 60% of normal from the support drive.
As a result for the first time in over a decade the price for patrons is going up and we’re no longer offering a discount for renewing. However, we also have new perks this year:
This support drive will end on December 31, 2024 and the next one will begin in 2025.

Number of 2024 unique patrons: 39 (39 in 2023, 90 in 2016)

Sorry for the delay everyone. I’m caught up through November now. However, starting in December PayPal made some changes and is no longer saving the username from the transaction so if your email address on PayPal differs from here, then I don’t know to whom to give the badge.
I’ll fix the style/CSS issues at a later date.
We’re now on the latest NodeBB. I had a maintenance page up for a bit but as a result of some issues with the dice bot, I had some unplanned outages as well.
