It would primarily be a mobile front-end to the forums. One nice thing would be notifications on your device for new responses etc.

Please keep these topics going. I even have a workflow for adding topics to the forums from the event submission page as yourself or as the Calendar bot. And If a topic already, exists, you’ll be able to paste that in too. I’ll let you decide your process but I basically built this feature below for folks like you.

Hey everybody. Patron activity has been slow in early 2026 – I have been and will be making a lot of updates and improvements this but these things cost time and money. March through April in particular are going to be expensive so if you’re planning on supporting the site, now is better than end of year. Thanks!

I have exciting news, I’ve created a new way for you to share your events and hopefully providing even more exposure for them.

Over the past several weeks, I hav completely revamped the non-forums portion of this site. If the change was subtle and barely noticeable, then I did a good job. 😉

One of the changes was a new events page and today I’ve launched the ability for you to submit your event and manage that event if there are changes and updates.

When your event is approved, a forum post will automatically be created as well.

@Argothair Since I’m trying to piggy back on Smorey’s rules, I don’t think Egypt is in the cards as a VC. If it were up to me, I would 100% do that.

I might relax the bidding rules a bit. I just wouldn’t want a set of teams to burn 15 minutes past the “official” start of the game … for those situations where another game needs the tables after the round is over. I think it’s only a “big convention problem.”

Thanks for asking for clarification on the rules. The purchase rules timing does seem to be problematic. I wanted to avoid burning more time. If a player runs out the clock, they’re probably going to take forever on the “free” purchase phase as well. Should I just allow 7 to 10 minutes of bonus time to make purchases? That should be more than enough for 1.5 rounds of purchase and place.

The problem of arguing over casualties or fumbling with dice is real, even if it is not a malicious intent to burn time.

• The forums, here, and anything in /forums/
• The rest of the website, the articles, etc. This part has been redone.

And there’s more to come. Mostly forms to submit new videos, events, and other content.

Yeah, so I launched the new website. Yay! Also, whoops! Part of the migration was creating a bunch of redirects, many of which messed with the forums URLs.

Once I excluded the redirects from forum URLs, we seem to be in good shape.

For a confluence of reasons March and April are going to be difficult months to getting the bills paid to run this site. On top of that, this time last year we had 20 patrons, this year it is half (prior to kicking off the drive). I’m setting a goal of $1250 for March and $500 for April. Ideally we hit the March goal on March 22. 😳

Upgrades are allowed so if you want to start at Silver today and Gold in a few months, I’m happy to accommodate.

Lastly, I’ll have some special perks for the two new tiers. For Distinguished, definitely a permanent place for your username somewhere on the website more prominently then in a post on a forum. So even if you do it once, your name will be enshrined somewhere.

We’re using Cloudflare (CF) now to help with the bots and caching the site. After installation, CF was quite aggressive against anything automated including TripleA clients. I set up a rule to allow TripleA traffic.

So it’s all fixed now and the site should feel faster.

If it doesn’t work on this topic, try a new one. Sometimes these things get cached somewhere.
