      I’m curious about the ship builds with a minor in Sydney as well…

      That being said I think you’re overestimating the money Anzac will have Sniper.  When I do a JDOW3 they are set up to take over all the money islands and sometimes Malaya as well.  If Anzac has Java, Sumatra and Celebes by turn 3 I assure you Japan is taking them back and killing whatever ships you have on the board in that area.

      Expanding upon your ideas guys, I am considering using D12 dice for special units but keep D6 for standard units. Like Panthers rolling D12@7 giving them a slight edge over other medium tanks for example.

      To add to you guy’s points you don’t need to use D6 with D12 dice, but the differentiation of using D12 for special units and D6 for regular units sets the special units apart IMO. It also puts a different focus on specialized units during the game.

      So you really don’t need my hybrid method but I think it has potential.

      Agreed.  Since it was the attackers mistake, the defender should get to choose if they want to re-roll the battle or just remove the bomber mid-combat and keep going.

      I’d probly let them bring the bomber somewhere else if there were other attacks not yet rolled though.  I wouldn’t allow them to go back and re-roll another battle with the bomber included though, that ship sailed.

      Agree with a lot of what Anonymous has to say.

      Let me reiterate: I’m saying the game is 60/40 at most. The only reason I give the Axis an edge is they have more room for error.  For example, a disastrous G1 roll on the British ships doesn’t necessarily spell game over for Germany.  On the other hand, an early game disastrous roll for the Allies (i.e. a Taranto raid that goes horribly wrong) probably spells doom for the Allies.  If the rolling is even early on I’d be inclined to call it an even split.

      @theROCmonster:

      @Whackamatt:

      The negative of the UK declaring war on Japan is that the US WILL NOT enter the war until Japan attacks, or end of Round 3 (after their turn).  This means that Japan can then attack all UK/ANZAC/Dutch territories without fear of brining the US into the war.  And they can still collect their +10 NO if they haven’t taken FIC yet.

      Perfectly said. Honestly I don’t recommend declaring war on Japan as UK unless you can kill something expensive, or stack Yunnan.

      Yeah, in one game UK/India thought it would be a good idea to declare war on Japan round 1. By the time the US was in the war, Japan had the DEI and Calcutta, UK India was nearly extinct and ANZAC had no navy left.

      Even without the picture i think its problem solved! There is a set of Xeno - World at War also in the collection so it must be from that . We dont use those units i thought but it solves alot of questions sorting our colors out! :)

      Thanks! :)

      One round of combat must be fought before the attacker can retreat.  The transports would only be automatically destroyed if there were no retreat route for some reason.

      It does fit, u place the two pices on top of eachother (they are only 40 mm high, the man board is 50 mm outside = 42 mm inside). The space is 600x800x84 when folded, the two pices on top of eachother are 500x600x80. That leaves a 300x600x80 space and my plan there is to make box of wood or paper to store units, dices etc!  :-D

      @sgtwiltan:

      It’s really too bad you didn’t make the side piece so that it would fit into the inner portion of the main board where the map is.
      You could even make a simple cover to keep the pieces inside from falling out all over the place. It’s a great idea you have there though.
