      @knp7765:

      Well, you are right.  That 47/32 artillery piece sure does look an awful lot like the FMG Italian Artillery.  By the way, I don’t mind being corrected.  I would much rather someone come in and let me know the correct model.

      I thought the Bohler 47mm AT gun was Romanian.  I got that from the A&A Minis collection “Contested Skies”.  Now that I think about it, that piece looks a lot like FMG’s piece too.

      Here is what I was going by when I made my list.  Is it possible that all Italian artillery pieces kind of looked alike even if the caliber was different?

      Well…good question…I confess I’m not that much of an expert - but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night…waaahhhahahahaha!  :-D

      Hahaha!  I got POLAND, UK & Commonwealth, & Germany, followed by the rest…

      Said due to tenacity and belief that I’d keep fighting even if my country was occupied - “RED DAWN!!!”…cool quiz. :)

      Also, Im fairly certain the Itlaian Artillery for FMG was established to be the Bohler 47mm M35, not a 105mm.  Check the pictures out on wikipedia, and I think you’ll concur.

      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cannone_da_47/32_M35

      Not knocking anyone’s efforts here just want the lists to be right…everything else on knp’s list looks spot on from my early notes from this thread.

      @knp7765:

      Hey DFW,
      Thanks for the tip on the Italian Sub.  The Transport ship for Italy was shown a long time ago when we were first discussing this project.  Many, many pages back, before we even had any sculpts to see, Jeremy showed us some photos of the actual ships to be used for Italy and one was the Transport.  I’m just too lazy to go back and try to find them.

      Oh yeah, on the Nazi’s (pronounced Nah-zees, ha ha) ships, the Zerstorer and Hilfskruezer classes were OOB.  The Narvik and Altmark are FMG’s.

      Sweet…thanks for the confirmation - I knew the Italian Transport picture was released, but do we have a class for it yet?  I’ll go find it if so but I never saw the class labeled as they were putting out pictures.  I suppose FMG will be doing its own master list now after these most recent posts and then I’ll find out for sure, but…oh well…thanks again!  :-)

      @knp7765:

      I have been keeping some track of these for my own use.  Here is what I have so far.  I hope these line up right:
      UNIT                           ITALY                                   GERMANY                                        USA
      Artillery                      105 mm                               88mm w/blast shield
      Armor 1                      Carro Armato 41                 PzKpfw VI or Tiger I
      Armor 2                      Semovente 75/18               King Tiger
      Mech                          Autoblinda 41                      SdKfz 251 Half-track
      Truck                          Fiat 626                               Opel Blitz                                       GMC
      Fighter                       Macchi C202 Folgore            Messerschmidt Bf 109                    F6F Hellcat
      Tac                             Breda BA.65                         Junkers Ju 87 Stuka                       TBF Avenger
      Bomber                      SM-79 Sparviero                  Heinkel He 111                               B-24 Liberator
      Transport plane         BR.20                                   Junkers Ju 52                                 C-47 Skytrain
      Aircraft Carrier           Aquila                                   Graf Zepplin                                   Enterprise
      Battleship                  Littorio                                  Bismarck
      Cruiser                       Zara                                     Graf Spee (pocket battleship)        Wichita
      Destroyer                   Soldati                                  Narvik
      Submarine                  ?                                           Type VII
      Transport                   ?                                           Altmark

      To assist you, knp:  I think the Italian submarine was a Marcello class (at least that was included in earlier discussions in this saga) - not 100% sure though…

      Also, a question for FMG I guess…earlier it was established that for the Krauts it was a Zerstorer Class DD (not Narvik) & a Hilfskruezer Class Transport (not Altmark)…has this been revised to a Narvik & Altmark?  Just making sure for my notes!!  :-D

      Ohh…and the Italian Transport class was never released officially!

      You all know that we do need your input and appreciate it.

      Hahaha!  Thanks for hanging with us Jeremy…  If anyone (a Moderator) had an easy way to take out any single posts that wasted space (like this one) that’d be helpful I suppose for those who haven’t kept up since the beginning or don’t know how to speed read…if not, maybe a sticky table of contents at the beginning of important sections where specifics were addressed…or something??  IDK…doesn’t bother me just reading through it.  Have a good day all!

      @FieldMarshalGames:

      After 194 pages (the longest thread in the history of this board) I think I am going to abandon this thread.

      It is so long, it holds no REAL information to anyone.  Updates can now be found on the LOCKED sticky thread above.  I recently asked IL to un-sticky this thread…  and as far as I am concerned it can fall into obscurity, and into History.

      This thread has become nothing but bad publicity for both this project and my company.

      Jeremy

      …and this is how idiots ruin it for everyone else…thank you for everything Jeremy (especially your patience with people)…look forward to the project’s impending glory! :)

      @Stefano1189:

      Considering i’m a stakeholder and i spent more than $ 70 it’s my own interest to know the status of this project. So shut up.It’s not my will to insult anyone but Jeremy must pay more attention to these things.

      If, from the beginning, i knew that i have to wait 12-15 months i would be more relaxed.

      Yeah buddy, well I’m also a stakeholder and I spend more than $200 for my order so why don’t YOU shut up.  If I can wait this long without suggesting that Jeremy or FMG would screw us over, then you can too.
      Also, Jeremy HAS been paying attention to every detail of this project.  What’s more is he has been sharing every bit of information with all of us here on the forum.  This is why so many of us are getting frustrated whenever there is another delay.  However, disappointing or not, at least we are all being informed and I for one like that.  Most companies would simply leave us hanging all these months with no idea how far along the project is.  Try to put yourself in his shoes.  You come up with an idea and sell it to a bunch of people then get told your product will be ready on “this” date.  Then “this” date comes and no product.  You ask the factory and they say "Oops, now it will be “that” date.  Then “that” date comes and you are still waiting.  Meanwhile, all the people you sold the idea to are getting frustrated and yelling at you “Where’s my product?”  Just think about how frustrating it would be to be caught in the middle like that.
      I think EVERYONE if you don’t have anything decent to say and just want to complain that you haven’t gotten your pieces yet should just not post.  You are taking up space.

      Amen brotha!  Before Jeremy we all waited for NO ONE and NOTHING for YEARS of A&A because no one gave a frog’s fat a$$ about this concept even though we all dreamed of it all the time.  Jeremy, the folks at FMG, and the folks at HBG are now making all these things become a reality and the end result will be well worth the wait.  Patience is a virtue…  Hang in there everyone. :)

      Well said, knp!  I’m busy planning my next gigantic A&A project in anticipation of the new arrivals.  FMG & HBG have started something we’ve all wanted for YEARS!!!  I’ve waited this long - just a few more weeks and we start seeing these pieces coming in…considering all the challenges, etc the quality is amazing.  WOTC should be outsourcing product development to FMG & HBG and maybe bring in their manufacturers and REALLY move some product!  :-D

      If it weren’t for FMG this likely wouldn’t have happened at all.  I for one am THANKFUL to have these guys doing all this legwork and putting up with all the ney-sayers and production BS that I don’t have the time to.  These guys sacrificed a LOT to get this going in time and energy as well as I am certain personal funds.  Being a part of this is equivalent to being part of an IPO, also an American concept.

      A few years back, I wanted a certain car that was a special production vehicle - were there unexpected delays?  Of course.  Factory re-tooling, parts back-orders, etc.  Was it worth it the day I drove it off the lot and stepped on the gas?  You better believe it!!  :-D

      The point is, we all made a choice to bet on these guys and the product they’re putting together for people like us - I’ve waited 15 years for custom A&A pieces so a few months is painless - I am confident that the other nations will move MUCH faster once the bugs are worked out and the money is rolling in - that’s business.  Sorry you’ve lost patience dude…hang in there and I’m sure it will all be worth it.

      I am patiently waiting.  Hey, first off - you guys took a HUGE risk and did something i doubt many of us would have had the patience or time to accomplish.  Finding, contacting, negotiating with, paying, etc the factory and sculptors to put all this together is no small task - in fact I doubt seriously if 2% of the A&A universe could line all that up.  Secondly, any serious A&A player has been waiting YEARS for this kind of thing, so a few months knowing it’s coming is freaking SWEET.  Besides, this allows us all time to save up to buy more orders :-D.

      Keep up the good work, Jeremy!!

      Sorry guys.  When dealing with factories in China…  there are ALWAYS delays.  I am often told “two weeks” then I don’t get any results for three.

      All I can say is we are very close.  Production has started.

      No worries man…just busting your chops!  You guys ROCK!
