      @FieldMarshalGames:

      @cminke:

      are you gong to allw hbg to sell indavidual diece like he does the units?

      Yes, Coach and I are discussing this now.

      Ironic, don’t you think…two companies that make pieces for a game called Axis&Allies, based on a world war partially caused by strategic alliances, allying together…haha.  Nice cooperation you guys…all kidding aside. :-D

      Hey, FMG, I may be jumping the gun here a bit and apologize if so, but…

      Do you think you guys will ever do British dice with the SEAC blue/blue roundel on them for India??  It’s the only “country” that doesn’t have specific dice now I think (at least in a 1940+ game).

      Just curious…thanks!

      @coachofmany:

      I received shipping verification from my broker.
      The Axis Minor set is a little behind schedule but I should receive it November 10.

      Thanks for the update!  Looking forward to them.  Glad you’re back on the grid - hope you enjoyed vacation.

      OK, so Jeremy, I’d like to pose a conundrum to you…a riddle if you will:

      If I pre-ordered the France & ANZAC dice back with the Italian units, is there a way I can buy just the new Elite German dice?  If not, no biggie - I’ll probably buy the Elite set.  I was just curious since those are the only ones I’ll be missing now :(

      “Tall Paul”

      Well said!  Very true…both FMG & HBG are truly heroes to the community and make this game what we’ve always known it could and wanted it to be.

      @FieldMarshalGames:

      A few clarifications:

      IF you pre-ordered during the CALL TO ARMS that was posted on this forum, you will receive a FREE set of ITALY dice with your order. (Special link was provided)

      There was a CALL TO ARMS pre-order for the new dice also on this forum and I still have those orders. (Special link was provided)

      IF you purchased an AMMO BOX in the past, we will supply you with a FREE set of ANZAC and FRANCE dice on your next order (or you can pay the shipping)

      The First box of ITALY units has arrived!  Orders were shipped based on two criteria: Region, and First come first serve.  40 sets have already shipped.5/sets - Canada. 5/sets International. 30/sets USA.

      ALL ORDERS will be shipped by the end of the month as more shipments from factory are on route.

      We are doing everything we can to expedite the delivery of these pre-orders.

      Awesome logistics.  Patton would be proud!

      If you purchased an AMMO BOX, you get a free set of ANZAC and FRANCE dice to complete the set.

      Wait a minute…maybe I just ordered the new dice when I pre-ordered my Italians?!  I forget…but I’m 99.9% sure my order somehow included these lovely dice.  Jeremy, did you offer them for pre-sale at the same time with the original launch pre-order for Italy?

      I just want to make sure I have them coming one way or another. :)

      @Lozmoid:

      I love them Jeremy, thank you! Now I just hope you can make the Combat Units to go with them!  :-)

      How could they NOT!?  He’s IN Canada!!

      I am so friggin stoked about having Canadian units too.  I plan to make one set of pieces First Special Service Force for Elite Infantry, and having great Canadian destroyers, etc.

      @Imperious:

      Well i got my Italian pieces and i can definitely say these are far better than anything WOTC has. The color is perfect and the type of plastic is better.

      I’m still waiting on my French and ANZAC dice since i bought the ammo crate, but i might have to order the Canadian dice too. :mrgreen:

      For some reason I thought the French & ANZAC DICE were coming with the Italians if you had purchased the other combat dice previously. As a bonus. Did I not read that some place?

      7

      I understood the same.  I’m fully expecting mine with my pre-order Italians.  Now, the Canadian dice I’ll order the second they’re up as well.

      @knp7765:

      Jeremy said that the freight company was scheduled to pick up the 6 skids from the factory on Oct 9-10.  So at this point, they should still be on the ship headed across the ocean which should take roughly 5 days.  Then there is clearing customs and shipment directly to FMG.  So we are very close, but not that close.  Whatever Fishmoto has coming from UPS can’t be the Italians…yet.

      True dat…

      @Danger:

      You cannot say things like that…I have no such message waiting for me in my e-mail. It has been a long time since December 10th when I pre-ordered these pieces and I have sat in near silence awaiting them but my nerves are almost shot from the waiting and “I can’t take any more scares!”

      Yeah, me niether - and I pre-ordered the day they were first available (whenever that was - I was waiting for it :))

    • RE: FMG COMBAT UNITS - Rules: COMMANDER

      @Tall:

      DFWSupertrooper,

      On “range” I feel this way - the size of a terriory is VERY large in a military scale (i.e. - ALL of Central France, ALL of Western Germany, etc).  A Corps or Army Commander would likely only affect units in the same territory - that to me is a “Field Commander” vs a “Theater” Commander or “Supreme Commander.”

      DFWSupertrooper,  I agree with your general thoughts concerning the “range” of land Generals.

      –---------------------------

      But as for the Naval Admirals they usually (but not always) had much larger “theater” sized commands (“range”).  Like “Atlantic”, “South Pacific”, “Pacific Ocean Areas”, etc.
      I believe the Admirals would need a larger “range”,…OR just give them a
      geographical “range”, such as “Atlantic”.

      What does everyone think???    (concerning the Admirals)

      “Tall Paul”

      Yeah, Paul.  Agreed.  I think your idea is spot on on that - perhaps a Field Commander unit should be different than a Fleet Commander unit in scope?

    • RE: Strategic Ports

      @KillOFzee:

      I have thought of something that would make logistics a more important aspect of the game. If ports became more important in the deployment of troops, it would create new aspects of the game that would add realism and a little more strategy.
      Port drop offs - If a transport drops off units at territory that contains a friendly port, that transport can continue the rest of its moves plus one more due to the ease of unloading. For example, a transport from Japan could unload in Kwangtung, if it is Axis controlled, and return to Japan in the same move.

      Port Refuels - If a transport passes through a seazone that is adjacent to a territory with a port, the transport receives and extra move (could interpret as that specific move doesn’t count towards the transports movement). Can only occur once per move, so passing through multiple sea-zones with multiple ports would has no benefit. For example, American transports from seazone 101 can pick up units from America and unload them in England from seazone 109 by passing through seazone 106, which is adjacent to the port at Nova Scotia.

      Over loading - If a transport picks up units in a territory with a port, that transport is able to “over load,” that is it can carry more units then normal. Over loaded transports can carry the following; 3 infantry, 2 artillery, 2 tanks, 1 artillery and 1 tank, or 2 infantry and 1 tank/1 artillery. However, overloaded transports can only be unloaded at territories with ports.

      With these new rules, I believe the strategic value of many territories would increase, making places like Normandy and Kwangtung more important to player strategies.

      All of this may seem a bit confusing, and whatever feedback you can offer would be great, thanks.

      Interesting…in my next project board I was going to make the Convoy Routes tie to specific ports of destination for supply intervention (i.e.- La Rochelle in Normandy/Bordeaux, Glascow in Scotland, Liverpool in UK, New York in Eastern US, etc).  Your new rules (or a variation) might just make an appearance in my own house rules! :-D

      Nice ideas…
