Yeah, it does sound like a good idea to me as well.  I have to admit I was really surprised that they even added the Renault to the first set!  I would guess since this next set focuses more on the Eastern Front we’ll probably not see any though.  Maybe later when they switch back to Western Front.  Anyone have any guesses about what the third set will focus on?  I’m guessing it will either be Africa or the Pacific.

Sounds like a nice rule but part of the charm of this game is that there is not too much record keeping.

I’m with you.  One of my favorite things about this game is the simplicity and how quickly you can get through a game.  I do think there are some stuff that may be over-simplified in this game, but it still seems to be well balanced (IMHO).  If I really want realism then I’ll pull out Advanced Squad Leader… there’s a game that seems to cover everything in WWII Tactical Combat!  It just takes a while to set-up and play…

Anyone having trouble getting the maps to lay flat while you are playing?  What did you do?  Or has anyone created their own maps or used some other system?  I was thinking about trying to use the HeroScape tiles… but they don’t really have tiles to give the City Hex effect.

I tried the transporting the Bazooka with the Jeep tonight.  Worked really well.  I just wish the Jeep had an attack to go along with that .50 Cal sitting on the back of it.  :)
