I recomend the AAAWINMAP utility. It keeps an IPC count for individual countries as well as teams. It’s user friendly exept that a few of the texts are in German. One problem is that it won’t work on some machines.
We should aso decide on a format for typing out turn orders. I can post one of mine if it would be helpful.

Statistics can be misleading. I for one think both Canada and Norway are entirely to COLD. Nope it’s good old Arizona for me! I don’t know how you can stand temps below 60 degrees F. And in the summer if you like the dry sauna just go outside!
What if we set up a multi player game among the members here and the winning team was declared the champs. Then they would accept chalenges until they were beeten, then there would be a new champion team. If a team remained champs for a set number of games they would have to break up and form 2 or 3 new teams.
What do you think?

I’m in. I don’t care what rules as long as everyone is on the same page. There are some nice PBEM utilities at AAMC if anyone is interested.
A game master recives the moves from the individual players, makes the rolls and sends out the results back to the players.
Nope, thats the way it was in the original game. Changes thing quite a bit huh!

I am an American, so my opinion is admittedly biased. I think any nation has room for improvement, that being said, America is the best country in the world. I see people post on boards how the US is butting in here the US is rude bla bla bla. Well I think we eat and have eaten more than our share of poopoo sandwich. Everyone has an opinion of what the US should be doing, I say, you can please some of the people all the time, and all the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all the time. If another country could do better they would. I’m an American and there is no other place I’d rather call home.

This might be surprising after that last statement but I think we should back out of the Middle East and watch from a distance. As long as no one is using Weapons of mass destruction i.e. nukes, cemical/biological weapons, I don’t care!

If you haven’t already you should check into his exploits in WWI. German army officers didn’t become generals because they looked good in the uniform. That is until Hitler came along:(
My CD used to do that before I got the 1.3.3 patch. I dont think you can use that unless you have a cd though.

I don’t know the first thing about programing. I assume a dice rolling program woulg be fairly easy to make. A program that gererates a random number(s) within given limits.
If you can create this Yanny I think it would a great addition to this site and a good tool for pbem games.
Moses: I have an A&A sim program I just want a generic dice roller.
Does anyone know where I can find an online dice roller or even a dice rolling program I can down load?
I use the rollers at the A&A clubs But I want some thing more generic that I can just imput the number of dice and get back a random roll.

Well, like I said above any stratgy can be beaten. I have used this strategy with succes before. I think that if you use the exact same strategy for every game it gets borring and predictable. Also If you find a decient strategy that is a change of pace it can throw off your opponent.
I also belive that good strategies should be fairly general in case you encounter something unexpected.
I came up with this strategy after seeing western Europe weakly held in the begining of the game time after time. That is less common in my games now:)
TG: 1 fighter on 1 fighter
For example:
4 bombers and 2 fighters(escort) from Western Europe Strat bomb Britain which has 3 Fighters. Britain rolls 5 AA shots at a one. 4 for AA for the bombers and 1 for fighter interdiction. The two escort fighters cancel out 2 of the interdicting fighters.
Uh huhuhu huhu… he said interdict…
