I must admit, I figured a game like this would appeal to an older crowd (no offense intended). I am glad to see the curve towards the younger crowd.

I wonder tho if that is predominate for all the people play the game or just those who read these boards.

Was a big time ACer for 2 years till I got real bored. Now into Anarchy Online with a few of my friends.

I am new to AA on line and these boards. I would like to get the feel for the age of people who play this game and peruse these boards. This is not a poll, just curious as the backgroud (age wise) of the average player.

I have played MMORPG type games and they run the gammut from 6 to 70. I am thinking this game appeals more to the late 20 to late 30’s crowd.

I am 36.

How do people communicate during game with team members? I could not find a way to type messages back and forth.

I just bought the CD of Axis and Allies origional game (love the board game). I have 2 questions I could not find answered in these posts (or i just missed it).

1. What ports does AA use if I want to open my firewall to host games?

2. What is the advantage to using the zone to play AA if it is just going to be my friends and I?

oh and 3. Does anybody have any issues using Roger Wilco durng the game?
