I recently received both Pacific/Euro sets. My freinds and I would like to use Alpha 2 as the premire ruleset for the  global game. My main questions are, how do you apply Alpha 2?Is Alpha 2 replacing oob? If Alpha 2 replaces oob, how and what do you use out of the original booklets? Before we begin, we agreed to establish a concrete ruleset,including any changes or faqs. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be extremly greatful.

I appreciate your responses Krieg. That about sums up my questions regarding AA revised. Hopfully, my 1940 global sets come in today. The scale of it is truly amazing.

Thank you Kreig. I found the site a few days back, and I must say I am very impressed. After I posted this another situation popped up.

1. Can fighters or bombers attack subs without a destroyer present?

We had a game going,and we were faced with two options. Either we stall the game or countine, making note of any unclear situations. For the sake of everyones sanity, we rolled with the punches.

1. Germany has 2 subs sharing a sea zone with 2 UK battleships. If USA places a destroyer in the sea zone does combat trigger a sea battle with UK?

2. During strategic bombing, do  any aircraft that are in the territory get a chance to intercept the bombers after aa fires?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
