My understanding on the dive thing is the plane that successfully makes a dive roll can choose either to dive 1 level or 2. Either one is is considered 1 difficult manuever.

After playing a couple games, The germans  have the best AF, Although expensive, their speed ratings are good for both  shoot and zoom tactics or dog fighting. they have good att. dice and a good selection of planes.

i have not been to any battlefields state side, but saw many of the areas where the Korean conflict took place. I was stationed in S.Korea for a year and went every where i could possibly go.  The Pusan Perimeter was pretty cool, and so was the 38th parallel.  Kinda neat eating chow while overlooking N. Korea.

Pakistan, is not an enemy, it’s just that the enemy resides in pakistan, and the Pakistani gov. can’t get rid of them.  Last time I checked, we are not at war with Pakistan, but the Taliban that resides in Pakistan. The Taliban is not the Pakistani Military.

If USA had stayed true neutral Russia and England would have fell.

The RAF was pretty much living on aviation fuel supplied by usa. No fuel means no contestation of German air blitz. with out fuel, the RAF would have been doomed with or without radar.

now had the german air blitz worked, Uk would have sued for peace, leaving only russia by it self.  Germany with a 1 front war would have crushed russia imo.

I do believe because when your axis fleets surface fleet was wiped out you lose right there(Because you have no units capable of capturing an objective),

or with objectives he would gain Victory pts = to 1 objective. + your surface fleets cost in pts + any objectives

#1 yes technically you would have to chase him down if ur playing last man standing
#2 yes all ships torp attacks can only attack ships

Whats funny is, look at the top countries and then think to your selves how much the US has influenced those economies and such, But yet the USA is the bad guys right now

Just remember, do u want to be the one getting ganged up on? Do u want some one else capturing that capitol?  Also use victory cities or an Economical victory condition, those to add ons usually keep from 1 guy getting ganged up on for to long.

I love Free for alls, My most favorite way to play A&A

5 countries, all territories with a name are neutrals with 2 inf. in each except capitols

Capitols are the islands of Britain, Japan, Madagascar, Cuba, and New Zealand.
We play on my 40/41 8x4 board. Most fun I have ever had in a A&A game.
We all roll a die, and Highest picks which capitol they want then next highest and so forth, then we roll again for turn order, Highest goes first and so on…

Last time my group got together, they didn’t even want to play the traditional way, went straight into Domination as we call it. Most fun it is

each player starts with $100 bid to spend on what ever units they want.
each territory is worth $2 and Capitols are worth $15. Each country starts with 1BB, 2 transports, 3 Inf and a Tank. also Complex and AA gun. + their bid purchases

Each New Complex produces 5 units and Complexes are stackable, so u could have 2 or more factories in 1 territory with each complex producing up to 5 units.
First turn, every ones starting cash is $80 and we use normal A&A rules and techs mostly.

ok, then why did we at least get an cease fire out of Korea? That is also thousands miles from home. And it doesnt take 3 months to get there like the revolutionary war under British Sail power.  I think US politicians were pussy’s and did not want to bomb Hanoi into submission like they could have if they would have stuck to their guns(bombs) as they say.  I think the US could have won southern Vietnams independence if we were not always fighting with one hand tied behind their backs.

Maybe even a direct land invasion in the North from the Sea could have won that conflict. go right for Hanoi from the get go, get rid of Ho Chi Mihn and see what happens. Let the Northern peoples see what a Democracy could do for their country.
