      this game will be cool as hell when it hits the shelves. I am glad it doesn’t come out until Sept. More time to play War at Sea Mini’s  :evil:

      Another Idea is to BUild An IC in France and Launch U-Boats directlly into the Atlantic.n  If you get Lucky enough to get wolf packs, this strategy works really well in stopping Allied convoys, and Fleets of all sizes.

      Yeah it did.

      IMO, building up you GE navy is a good Idea, But build it in the Med. you already have a BB and Try. all you need is another try, destoyer, and you can throw the carrier in later when the fleet finally starts feeling pressure or starts getting adventerous. I’m sure you will have boughten more planes at some point before this,  When you finally want to leave the Med for say England or Us, thats when you build your major Navy build.  If you are looking at UK or US that means that Afrika is probably yours, IMO you should take brazil if opportunity presents itself, build IC there then you can base your Med fleet off the coast of Brazil, and still be able to fortify Afrika and your fleet and Threaten US mainland at the same time.

      NIce roads
      Alaskan highway was made in the 50’s and 60’s. If you want to add another road put in the Autobahn
      Burma road is good, Siberian railway, good, Transcontinental RR, Good, If a African/ asia road is wanted, connect Egypt with Iran or India, but i think more then 1 new road will be to much.  My vote is for a road or railway in europe.

      The country that gets Physically attacked or rolled against first will then be the second country to go. And if UK does go before JPN, UK is restricted in the fact they are not at war with JPN and can’t attack the Japs. until turn 2 when every nation no matter what happens in the first round may act normally.
      Technically at the starting point i Mentioned above, JPN is only at war with China, and Germany, Italy are at war with UK due to various treaties with Poland and France.

      Yes UK was on the ropes in 42 and being restricted as I have them, it will represent this.

      How bout this:

      1.Germany should go first. they are THE aggressor
      2 Which ever ally gets attacked first goes next. Between UK and Russia
      3. Japan The other Major aggressor
      4. Russia or UK depending on who went 2nd
      5. Italy
      6. USA Should go last in whatever turn order you are using. If the Americans are not aggressed during first turn, they may not make any  moves for the first turn only. China may however act normally as they would, and purchase Inf. with US $. The US Spends and Collects for the first turn only, Half of their IPC production, only If they have not been aggressed.  This is FIRST TURN ONLY.

      If Germany decides not to attack either Russia or UK it’s first turn, Russia cannot perform combat moves against the Axis Powers ( first turn only ) Also England cannot Attack Japan on first turn even If Germany Attacks UK.  UK is not at war with JPN yet. UK is however at war with Germany 1st turn. But during first turn if japan attacks UK and UK goes 4th then UK may attack Imperial JPN.

      When turn two comes about every nation may act normally in all turn phases.
      I figure if you are a leader of a nation and you were not attacked directly, why would you jump right into the frey. You would sit back a moment and plan and watch what every one else is doing.

      This turn sequence is based on a pre barbarossa, post Blitzkrieg of France.  Lets assume Dunkirk just happened and England is Recovering for a moment licking her wounds. And no other nation other then Italy, Germany and UK are officially at war in the West and JPN and China in the East.

      If you want GE to have it’ tactical advantage over Russia while pulling back the Russian front, just have Russia make a smaller portion of there income. This is to represent Peace time Russia not a full blown war economy. Once Russia is involved in the World War then they get there full Pay, or You could give them, GE,  two attack moves on the first turn, or both.

      Roads, Put a Road in Europe and call it the Autobahn. I think that would be a great Idea. Would the russians destroy them from Japan, I’m sure they would. So make it so roads don’t give any benifits the turn they are captured.

      IF Germany starts so close to Russia on this map I DON"T want it. Might as well play revised cause thats what you got
      In my opinion You have improved somethings which is great, thank you, but on the other hand you have ruined this map and it’s ability to be realistically different, game in and game out. Right now it is just not so. Please fix and put back the way it was or I will change this map with Photo shop my self.  I don’t want to sound rude sorry but I think Positronica definatly hit a home run on the first go, minus a few clerical errors.

      I totally agree with posi with Germany’s starting Pos., Pull them back. If you keep it this way every game will be the same, sad to say but true. I want to see German panthers rolling in red square also, but not every game

      The original map works great with the exception of a few things. They have been addressed.  and them some :cry:

      1. Control of Libya changed –Done

      2.Spelling and area miss Identification-- Done

      3. Victory Cities-- They look great.

      4. Siberian Rail way, Burma Road, Transcontinental Railroad—Put them back as they were Please  :cry:

      5. Madagascar-- Good

      6 Not sure if I like Sahara Going all the way to Atlantic.

      7. I think I like Japan’s old color better.  Matches Red Jap pieces better from pacific

      8. Probably Mundane But Anchors and Airfields Are missing. ( I’m sure U no this)

      9. China’s Inf. production should be based on the income they collect they make 9 IPC’s so thats 3 Inf. Place them along Burma road and their capitol.  Also If you are Giving China a “capitol” Burma Road should not run through West Bengal. That way it is still 4 spaces from Calcutta. And as long as china gets a capitol Do they get a factory? or option to buy 1 with American $.

      12. Where is Saigon? Definatly needs to be there. the territory that is.

      13. I like Greece in Italian Hands.

      Yeah as far as gameplay goes acouple of tweaks are needed I noted a few a while back. I don’t have my map handy but some anchors are dumb, cause they are. Coroline islands i think it is, doesn’t reach japan it should. The sea zones adjacent to Normandy and Spain  and the anchor don’t work. In other words useless to Axis. and they control it. Both sides of Japan need an Anchor.  I made some notes but I don’t have them with me I’ll get back to you.

      Well check this out.
      The Fletcher class was the largest class of destroyer ordered, and was also one of the most successful and popular with the destroyer men themselves.Compared to earlier classes built for the Navy, they carried a significant increase in anti-aircraft (AA) weapons and other weaponry, which caused displacements to rise. They also contained a flush deck which added to structural stability although it did make them rather cramped. The increased displacement allowed a heavier and a larger number of armaments to be carried as necessary.
      Throughout the course of World War II, the number of AA weaponry increased resulting in five twin 40 mm Bofors plus seven 20 mm weapons by 1945. Plus depth charges, Torpedoes and Sonar and so on.
      175 were built but only lost 17 during the war.
      Thats a lot of Anti Air flak there so how bout this.

      Fletcher Class Destroyers- During first round of combat if A US destroyer, or fleet containig a US destroyer, is attacked and there is enemy Aircraft present, your destroyers defend on 3

      Tweak it how you need too to fit the super rules.

      If you are going through all this trouble to print this map and it still is costing $88 bucks plus shipping. You should just post the updated one with no errors on it just like  Positronica did (his has the errors)  Any way Save it to a disk take it down to a Print shop, Not Kinko’s They want over $1 Per square foot for color printing. This Map is 15 Sq. ft. = $150+ in cost. Go to a blue print place or even a Printing School And they will do it for half the cost. I did it and got country cards all for less then $85.00 and I got it the next day, Ink had to dry, lotsa of color. Also it was printed on a non glossy Photo grade paper all 1 piece. ( I thought glossy would be to shiny). I’m glad I went with it, the Map is sharp.  I roll it up put 3 rubber bands around it and strore it in a Card board paper core (tube) that they gave me. We have managed to play 5 games on the original from Posi. With some surprising results and tactics. There are alot of possibilities and room for Nat’l growth for every country  from round 1 on  Thanks again for this wonderful Artwork

      The Oil is cool but What if instead you would just add a Oil cost on top of normal cost ie, Tank Cost 5 IPCS and 2 oil IPC’s Transport cost 8 ipc’s and 3 oil IPC’s ETC……  In this way you don’t inhibit combat in any way but if you have no OIL you can’t Build crap that requires it because your having issues fueling what you got.
