If you intend on keeping them forever, Paint stir sticks are nice because you can paint nice textured waves and wash behind the ships.

Also if you wanna get creative with unsaveable bent subs, you can cut the towers off and glue to paint stick giving the illusion the subs diving or surfacing.

I like the fact you took my map and took it one step further, but it does piss me off that I gave it to you and the community for FREE. Now you charge people for it.
Alot of time and effort went into making that map which you have openly admitted to using it as a template for yours.

Some where in these pages it says that the map file will not be released for down loads and it has to be purchased thru HBG. I call shenanigans.

that map is still my map with new clothes on.
its like if I bought a new ford car, repainted it and sold it as a Danmobile. Its still the same car.

Now I don’t have any problem with HBG providing a service, ie printing and shipping of the map.
I do have a problem with any variation of my map being sold because it is otherwise unavailable any where else.

Any map or variation of the map that will use MY map as its base template, WILL be available for free as a down load with suggested ways for the downloader to be able to print that map.

I have received no royalties (not my objective) otherwise which gives you no right to sell my idea, no matter what clothes you dress it up in. By all legal rights, those maps are my maps, unless you started with a completely blank sheet of paper, which you have admitted you didn’t.

I absolutely love A&A and I encourage the development of this beautiful map, your variation and my original. But a FREE download WILL be available for all period.
I don’t care if you are a site sponsor or not.

If you so choose it to be only available via purchase thru HBG,  I want some sort of compensation for my time and effort. Again not my main objective.

Not saying I will because I definitely do not want to, but I can and will kill this thread on the basis of plagiarism. I Really Really hope it doesn’t come to that because I know alot of people enjoy the maps in the “global war” section. And as long as there is a free map download for everyone to enjoy, we won’t have any problems.

This saddens me because WaS is an awesome game. Especially when ur opponents are
not historical unit limit Nazis. My 3d islands and game table are works of art, not
to mention the added expense for the materials used in making the islands and table, gale force 9 gaming aids, smoke,mines,fire plumes(hit markers), storms and airfield and objectives markers.

Ironically set 1 was my most invested set, bought 3 cases whole and another 2.5 cases worth of boosters plus 2-3 starter boxes.
Set 2 I toned it down abit got about 3.5 cases total
and about 2 cases of the other sets each.

The land minis are fun but when they changed scale, I lost interest… Already had enough tanks and men, why start over I thought.  Land minis are really fun if you get the chance to play with 3d hex terrain system

I wanted to crush France in 1 rd of die rolling, which I did accomplish, I only suffered 4 casualties.
I bought the BB rd 1 so Ge would have 2 just like UK.

My main goal was RU. I only bought GE navy to scare UK Fleet away which worked to perfection.

The problem was US rushed Japan on rd 5  took Korea trashed IJN Fleet and its own but unloaded like 8 tranny in Korea. IJN could do nothing to Kick them off mainland therefore provided US with landing zone for US bombers.  Nxt turn US leveled IJN IC

Germany was knocking on Moscows door in force.  and Italy with German AF support had IC in Egypt,  Uk was hurting,
Yes they had their Atlantic fleet but they were cowering in Quebec. Everytime he tried to come back home, my navy backed by my large Luftwaffe forced him back. The allied powers laughed, when I bought naval yard in Poland. They stopped laughing when I kept popping out into the channel, pushing UK navy back to Canada
