I thought it looked lIke you had been on here less; I suspected you were busier. Hope all is well.

I would like to try out an idea of Variance’s. See house Rules for clarification, but Russia loses half the countries for which it can get the Communism NO. However, it gets 3 IPCs for each of its VP Cities, while at war.
I would also like to remove Germany’s 5 NO for Leningrad (too easy to attain) and Japan’s for the DEI.
Added to this, I want the US to get an extra 10 NO for being at war.

There is no starting bid though. It will be tough on the UK in the early rounds.

I want to make it tougher on the Axis. Do you want to try out the Allies? Just say if it  is something you don’t fancy.

Shore Bombard Per Ground Unit Restricted: OFF (should this be on? What does it do?)
Naval Bombard Casualties Return Fire Restricted: ON (should this be off? I have it each way in games – does it actually do anything

If you have it set up like you’ve described here then the casualties from bombard can’t return fire. Which makes sense because if a machine gun nest is hit with a battleship round…they’re not going to be around to fight guys hitting the beach.

If the game option isn’t set up this way then it doesn’t do anything.

I like the option that battleships repair at beginning of round…that way they have to survive the entire turn to repair.
