    • RE: Japan preference

@broken-mortar DEI because I suck as Japan and in all of my solo games I did best as the Japanese when invading the NEI (VP wise)

    • RE: Is it best for Italy to stay Neutral?

@chris_henry OR you can use my rules haha  .

      Changes to Italy

      Italian VPs:
3 | Neo-Roman empire: get 1 VP up to a maximum of 3 VPs for each of these territory groups Italy holds at the end of the Game: Yugoslavia and Thessaly, Western and Eastern Egypt, Gibraltar, Transjordan and Syria, Spain (NS allies to Italy in this Scenario.
1 | Fascist Victory: NS wins the Spanish civil war.

      Italian Navy:
Add 1 naval transport at SZ 81.

      Italian volunteers:
While Italy is neutral during the Spanish Civil War, Add +1 to NS recruitment rolls.
While at war, Italy get recruitment rolls for each home country territory they get.

    • RE: Kaiserreich Map Setup

      @trig Nice:+1: I have a couple of questions/Ideas, though
This starts in jul 1936, right?
You should have the client states under control of the entete, and Germany can’t attack them until they rebel or when they don’t fight on Germany’s side.
How will you organize the Suez Canal?

    • Kaiserreich Map Setup

I once watch Kaiserreich alternate history, and I thought it would be a nice idea to make a 1936 setup, but I don’t know much about it. Any fans here who would like to give me some insight?

@trig A harder thing to find is if rails from Yugoslavia go through Macedonia :slightly_smiling_face:

    • RE: Is it best for Italy to stay Neutral?

@bretters They would only be able to send 5 IPPs or one military unit- see rulebook page 34 (for some reason I couldn’t copy and paste it)

    • RE: What is the best thing to do with strat bombers?

@Chris_Henry Bombing cites would give more cover, as proved in the battle of Stalingrad.
      @Trig Totally agree with you.
I think carpet bombing cities should damage the IPP output. Also, I think that AA guns and carpet bombing accuracy should double since it happens in a small area.

    • RE: Italian neutrality

@CaptainNapalm I like the Italian neutrality, but if you want to make it more reasonable to Italy go to war, and to promote going to war, here’s some changes I would make:

      Italian VPs:
3 | Neo-Roman empire: get 1 VP up to a maximum of 3 VPs for each of these territory groups Italy holds at the end of the Game: Yugoslavia and Thessaly, Western and Eastern Egypt, Gibraltar, Transjordan and Syria, Spain (NS allies to Italy in this Scenario.
1 | Fascist Victory: NS wins the Spanish civil war.

      Italian Navy:

      Italian volunteers:
While Italy is neutral during the Spanish Civil War, Add +1 to NS recruitment rolls.
While at war, Italy get recruitment rolls for each home country territory they get.

    • RE: Carpet Bombing

@gen-manstein Maybe, if this isn’t coping what you said that for example, a strat bomber has 3 D6s to bomb a facility, you could use 1 D6 on the airbase, 1D6 one the factory, and 1 D6 on the rails. Basically , you chose to roll what dice for what targets

    • B-17 "flying fortress"

The B-17 had a large bomb load, but sacrificed it for protection. Here are the house rules for the B-17.

      B-17
Attack: 1 D12@“3” carpet bombing, 1 D6 strat bombing and “2” interception value
      Defense: 3 (2)
      move: 6
      Cost: 13

      SPs:
Can supress one hit (like tanks in A&A 1914).

    • RE: Messerschmitt Me 163 Komet

    • Air Strikes

This is basically a house rule that Airplanes may Attack ground units for one round with being shot back on (unless there is AA units and/ or planes)

    • Messerschmitt Me 163 Komet

The Messerschmitt Me 163 Komet was a rocket interceptor that had a phenominal climb rate but really limited range (about 63 miles). Here are the stats of such a plane in GW1936.

      ME 163
Requires strat rockets stage 3 tech
      Attack: NA (NA)
      Defense: 5 (5)
      move: 0
      Cost: 6

      SPs:
Can only attack aircraft. It can’t escort, but can intercept. It can only be moved by strategic rail. It can only be hit by other aircraft on a 1 (and maybe 2).
