If this is it then its not that big?

Oh yeah, and as far as the price goes I think 40-50 bucks is more than fair for an initial run. FMG has put all their money into this project not just to make them more money but to provide us with something we have all wanted for a long long time. Hopefully we will back them up and make this worth their time and effort, and if they are smart they can take future lines down a bit on price after their R&D is paid for to back up a loyal customer/community base.
Honestly how long do you need to save up for at least one set of pieces? Its not like each nation will come out one week after the other it will take a long time to get all the nations completed, and without our support along the way they never will be completed.
FMG for clarity and the avoidance of doubt, I wish you every success and I’m 100% confident that your products will be awesome!
I really appreciate what you’re bringing to the community.

amen
I cannot wait to pre-order these pieces after years of disapointment over piece quality/quantity by WOTC this is a golden opportunity to right all those wrongs.
Thank you FMG
Having all the Nations heavy bombers be 4 engine would eliminate some confusion when they are scattered around the board.
Tough to see with those Russian units in the way, but it looks like the two are not connected to me.
Is there a link to all the sculpt pics on the FMG website?
It’s a good spot for an accordian factory and a mime school…. :-)
Imperious Leader is starting to sound like he sits behind a desk at WOTC with all this we don’t need this or that talk?
Not a chance, the Axis had to small a poplulation/resources/industry to keep up with Allies/Russia. It was Russia’s own mistakes that let the Germans get as far as they did. France’s decision not to invade while the bulk of the German army was in Poland was a huge mistake. When Japan attacked the U.S./U.K. they did so becuase they only had enough oil for six months of warfare left not becuase they thought they could win! but becuase they thought they could “shock and awe them”. Germany’s oil supply for the invasion of Russia allowed for no mistakes of which they made plenty, just like their Africa campaign where their oil supply could be measured in days. Then there is Italy the “paper tiger” of the mediteranean talk about an unorganized, unsupplied, poorly led mob who crumbled at every serious encounter!! What chance did they have? America alone out produced all of the Axis nations singlehanded. Now consider the U.K., Russia, the Commonwealth nations, the chinese rabble, plus countless smaller nations that threw in what they had and you have an unwinnable scenerio.
That is why A&A has to be so unbalanced of a game in order to make it a “game” that is playable. Who would play monopoly if one player started with two monopolies, or risk if one guy always started with Australia. The answer of course is nobody or at best only those who wanted a challenge. I love a good challenge and would enjoy trying a true historical setup/ruleset, but that would get boring eventually. Don’t believe me though read a book or two that actually looks at the logistics of the war not a history channel “what if” show that loves make people think they had a chance.
I thought he was French? :-D just kidding
Hopefully it will actually be playtested!...including crazy strategys like G1 “Sealion” and G1 invasion of Russia that could break the game. Unlike Pac40 where Japan has more land forces in China than China has by the end of J1! and the UK fleet is both week and pathetic inviting Japanese invasion of India by sea on J3?..J2 if they wanted it bad enough…sad sad sad…
I would love a convoy route system like that, but it won’t happen unless you make it a house rule.
Possibly so, but think about how long it will take to get troops to Turkey, and then build an I.C. there. Russia is probably going to be a tough customer so I’m not sure if Germany is going to have time to invade. Think about how much Germany is going to have to prepare for its war with Russia in terms of units considering the size Russia will probably be in this game. If Pacific 40’ is any indicator on the size of Russia then Germany is in for at least a four turn march to Moscow which means they are going to have to hold off America and the U.K. in the west until turn 8 at least! I think extra IPC’s for invading Turkey and building a complex there are a luxury, and if Turkey ends up like Mongolia there won’t be any territorys worth 2 IPC’s making it impossible to build one.
Who can say really what will happen, and after the J1 DOW debacle for Pacific 40’ perhaps the Germans will be able to invade Brtiain on G1 and ruin that game.
Probably just some file that did not download correctly causing the problem.
Oddly enough I created a new file to save my map files to and now I can upload them? I just created a file called P40 and saved my files to that location and for some reason beyond me it worked. I can open everything just as I have a hundred times before but since I downloaded the new abattlemap file its like they just dont exist when I go to attach it to a post, yet I can go look up the files outside of the A&A.org forumn and there they are like nothing is wrong. I’m not sure whats wrong but I have found a solution of sorts.
Ok for some reason I can no longer find my saved files when I go to attach them? I can find the save files normally but when I go to additional options to attach the file to a post its like they do not exist? I can download them and open the files just fine, so am I going crazy?
