That maybe the only way for the CP to stand up to the assualt. Althougg they cpuld probably still pull off the RR and then turn those forces south toward India instead of western Europe. Of course, then the Americans builds and posistioning comes into play in a big way, for a large enough US force could tilt the balance in the west before India can be taken.

Has anyone attempted an Ottoman first strategy? Using all of Britians IPCs in India, and using France to help secure Africa and then push on Syria. It leaves France solo to defend western europe and Italy by itself to hold back Austria, but if the CP is going for a Russia first the Alliance does have time to make the attempt. Also it puts a very large British army at the CP’s backdoor with America beggining to land stacks of troops in France by the time Russia is finished off.

Would this work?

Country specfic chips so you could stack multiple nations units under one nations piece? So, I may have a French infantry on top but below him is a stack of Light green(british)dark green(American) and blue(French) chips that represent a multinational infantry force. Then repeat for all your armies and bamn you only ever have one stack of every unit type for your side in a territory. I agree that as the game goes on the Western front becomes an almost impossible pile of every western nation packed into three or four territories.

Sadly with eight nations it would be expensive for all of these chips and you would have to find spray paint that somewhat matches the nations in order to make these nation specific chips, but who cares if you really want to solve the problem on a game you have already paid a hundred bucks for.

I got my pieces today and they were well worth the wait, and I cannot wait to order some Germans when they are ready to go.  :-)

Same here, I have a tracking number and an e-mail saying I was to recieve it today and yet nothing has come so I guess UPS is having issues.

You cannot say things like that…I have no such message waiting for me in my e-mail. It has been a long time since December 10th when I pre-ordered these pieces and I have sat in near silence awaiting them but my nerves are almost shot from the waiting and “I can’t take any more scares!”

Great idea, I like being able to see it all in a glance and not having to search through page after page to find who has what.

We are on the downhill part of this marathon so all you have to do is hold on. I let go of my frustration by burning things and harming small animals…… :evil: just kidding!!!

I’d say have the following

Japan
China
Russia
Germany/Italy
U.K. (Anz, Fra)/ U.S

This seperates Japan from the rest of the Axis and considering how much they “co-operated” it makes sense and the same goes for Russia and the Allies with China. This allows the major powers of the war that actually had joint military operations actually accomplish that and isolates those powers who were basically on their “own” during the war. With the exception of siezing Persia and convoys sending supplies there were no joint Allied/Russian operations.  The same goes for Germany and Japan who planned to meet in the near east but other than that did nothing “together”.  Finally China who was a group of nationalists, commies, and warlords who fought together only becuase they had to in order to hold back Japan, and other than a few fighters from America and supplies what major combat operation included Allies and Chinese units???

I know this is still a turn order but it does make a little more sense.
