And does anybody know if FMG is planning on making a set with plastic pieces to replace the little cardboard ones the 1940 games came with? I would buy a set that had Major and Minor IC’s, airbases, and naval bases, and maybe some plastic aa as well.

RE: Re: Field Marshal Games Pieces Project Discussion thread
That price range sounds fine to me considering the amount of pieces in each set. I was worried more of $39.99 each, which is what FMG has listed for Italy right now on their site (I know it says price isn’t finalized but that’s what is up). Next question, does anybody know the order of sets to be released? And what is a good ballpark figure time-wise from Italy coming out to the next set and eventually all 9 nations? Also is FMG planning on making any kind of tech units? Because I would definitely buy a set like that. Maybe plastic rocket launchers, jets, late-war air units for long distance, paratrooper units, I don’t know stuff like that.

RE: FRANCE and ANZAC COMBAT DICE - HELP us design them!
I’ve never bought any combat dice , but I plan on buying the full set with France and ANZAC. I’ve noticed that the German dice are gray and that the ANZAC combat dice are going to be gray as well. Are they going to be the same gray color as the German dice? Or are they going to be a different shade of gray? Is there anyway in the future to have a set of black dice made for Germany? I personally would be willing to pay for a dice set that match the AAA colors exactly.

RE: Re: Field Marshal Games Pieces Project Discussion thread
I’m interested in purchasing these combat units along with the new combat dice when they come out, but I am starting to be concerned with the total price of buying each nations set separately. Is each nation’s set going to be sold separately? Or, is there going to be a way for us to pre-order the complete set at a slight discount?

RE: AAG40 FAQ
Question: It says in the rules that all techs take effect immediately. Does this mean if I roll for Improved Factory production I can place the extra troops in the my IC complexes this turn (meaning 4 instead of 3 in a minor and 12 instead of 10 in a major)? I think so, but when you upgrade a factory you cant place the extra units until the next turn so I am not 100% sure.

RE: Alternate setup by Larry Harris?
Hello everyone. I’ve been playing Axis and Allies for a while, but I just picked up the Europe and Pacific 1940 versions when Europe came out. I never played either game separate because I bought them to play the giant Global version. I’ve been following this site for a while and I have been checking the alternate setup posts a lot so I can keep up to date. I’ve played two games of global so far. The first was with the setup in the box plus the Pacific faq/errata, and the second was with the alternate setup that took away 14 planes and moved some units around. In the first game the Axis was winning a hard fought game when it was called. In the second game I found it less competitive, and the Allies won pretty easily. I’m going to start a new game this weekend with the newest proposed setup changes, but I am getting a little frustrated that the game is different every time I set it up. Does anybody know if these changes are being designed with Global in mind? Or are they really only for Pacific with Global game play an afterthought? I thought these games were designed to be played together, so why would you make changes to the Pacific side but not the Europe side? And finally, are the NO’s mentioned in the newest setup (+5 for UK if control Malaya and Kwangtung while at war and +5 US if controls Philippines while at war) for use in Global or solely in Pacific?
