These units look amazing.  About how much does it cost to get those guys painted?

FMG could simply make a special ANZAC and Canadian Infantry in the UK mold.  Then FMG could print that mold in three colors and sell it as a Commonwealth/UK Allies Set.

Anyone complaining about the pricing of these units fails to understand basic economics let alone economies of scale.  The amount of cash/orders that must be put down just to make one mold is probably more than you can imagine.  You think a factory in China would take time out of it’s business to run a few molds for these guys?  They’re competing against orders from companies of all sizes from all over the world just to get these things made in the factories.  Not to mention that these two companies have done all of us a huge favor by just making these pieces.  Would I like them to cost less?  Sure, who wouldn’t?  But I’m willing to pay whatever these guys need me to pay to ensure that all these pieces that I’ve been waiting decades for will exist.  Thanks to both FMG and HBG for all the hard work and dedication.  Remember everyone that this a project of love, but they are businesses.  If they don’t make money, who makes the pieces?

Just got my pieces in the mail and all I can say is… Wonderful job FMG!  The level of detail in these pieces is amazing.  I cannot thank you enough for making these.  Speed up production on the other nations because I plan on buying every single set you produce!

I voted for my 12, but it seems like there may be enough demand to do 2 sets.

Can you maybe give us a 24 hr notice or something?  Some of us have been proposing ideas and following this project from the beginning.  It would be nice if we had a chance at first dibs.

Absolutely amazing FMG, these USA sculpts have me so excited it should be illegal.  Finish them as soon as possible so all of us can make you rich!

Like it or not the point of a major corporation like WOTC is to make oodles of money for thier executives and, to a lesser extent, their shareholders.  They do this by putting the bear minimum of money necessary into a product that will generate sales.  We should all thank our lucky stars that true fans like HBG and FMG are undertaking this enormous process.

They probably used the same company or sculptor.

Don’t make them with less detail.  If you want less detail you can buy more WOTC pieces.  They look great

I would like to put in a request for a landing craft as well.  The LCM 3 to be exact.  I think the D-Day landing craft is a piece that needs to be made and I’m surprised that neither your or FMG has announced an intention to do so.  Please make the landing craft!

I have a completely unrelated question for Jeremy.  Whenever the Italian units are ready, are those of us who participated in the pre-order investment still going to be able to order the German units as well?  I know Germany is not in production yet but I remember form an earlier post you saying something about pre-ordering or ordering the Germans alongside the Italians.  Thanks and I can’t wait for the Italians and those dice!
