Do you use the TripleA battle calculator? If not, you should check it out (last item under “game”). It would have told you that the Egypt attack was a loser (1% chance of an attacker victory, with an average of 11.3 units left to the defender - - so even though I got lucky in the first round, the ultimate outcome was not that far off)

Yes the game is definitely at a very interesting phase. Take your time in responding, I have been home sick this week, but am at work today, so it will be awhile before I could respond anyway. I noted the war news could have used a proof read (left off “pill” after “sleeping” and put a “the” in front of Britian)

I assumed you did not want to do the suicide scramble against the Norway landing (if so we can roll it seperately and adjust other moves as appropriate)
News from the war: 1) After spending much of the war vacationing in Australia, the 8th Airforce bomber group arrived in the Britian, 2) Hitler as taken a sleeping and may not be disturbed, therefore Germans may not move any strategic reserves, and 3) US lost a fighter group and destroyer in surprise loses to under gunned enemy units
