@Stucifer So far, I am really enjoying our first game of G42. We played with a 7 bid to the axis and japan feels super strong. Germany feels weak.

Overall, the setup from G42 is very similar to the setup for 42SE, but obviously the rules and map are different.

@gamerman01 I can in fact tell you that I suck with axis lol. Generally, I think mistakes or setbacks with the axis are much more punishing, whether through dice or skill, a lot of games are just over. Whereas the allies can afford some as long as they aren’t catastrophic.

I’ve been on the forums a few years as well, and happily got to the finals in PTV last year but then got absolutely smoked in them. I may have put up less of as resistance than poland.

I am an engineer by day.

I also don’t play much live as the time commitment is just too much. I’m married with 1 kid so far, but my brothers and I do try to get some games of the quicker versions in from time to time. The weekends Stu comes to visit are lovely.

I personally have no issues with this being a very slow game, especially given the time of year.
