Just played another game today, with what appears to be another resounding Allied Victory. I was the Allies and just went straight into the Med with both USA and England. Slaughtered Italy, and just annoyed Germany enough to keep their income down.

Eventually, the ipc’s spent in the pacific were just too much for Japan to keep up with. Japan started out super strong, but with the EruoAxis losing that fast it wasn’t the longest of games.

So, how do you propose the Axis defend themselves from an earlyish American assault in the med? This strategy has been almost impossible with deal with as the Axis, because if the entire Luftwaffe is parked in the Med, they obviously aren’t in the Motherland. Which sets Germany back there…Please help

@wizmark I am bad in pacific, and I messed up big time in the Atlantic once that may cost me. This game is awesome though. It definitely feels close.

I edited the german buy for the airbase on greece, which potentially changes things for england

@wizmark Yeah, this game is amazing. I’m having a lot of fun. Siberian dice definitely made up for me messing up and getting them killed. The Norway impasse is getting hilarious.

@Stucifer It would be a lot of edits, but after seeing how this played out, going to syria is bad. I think you just have to dump everything into tobuk and move that way

@wizmark I forgot to attack the Italian sub in 94, which is what the edit was for. I did roll it in game and took the results, I’m not sure how to do it on the server. It was a dd and a fighter vs the sub.

@wizmark I edited the british duded onto the american TTs off gib. That was an edit from last round that I messed up. I’m pretty sure I can fly british planes up to make sure I don’t lose norway if you dont want me to make that edit.

@aequitas-et-veritas no scramble please. if it’s that 1 sided, feel free to not ask me. If I decide I really want to we can just go back. this will save some time.

@dawgoneit I am so sorry, you will be missed.

@nikola1975 I don’t like to think about them in most games, but when they are obnoxiously one sided, which in this case I think they favored me pretty hard. Overall, they might have been relatively balanced, but if I am losing inf, and youre losing planes it’s not equal.

I don’t think SL was a bad call, I think it just didnt work out. If that makes sense.

@nikola1975 Fair, but I just missed a tt that hit queensland. losing anzac this early and with such a huge ipc swing is probably gg. I’ll try and recover, but I’m not overly optimistic.

@nikola1975 Yeah, you destroyed me. I just missed too much on both sides. Abandoning the pacific is a strategy I often do, but you have to turtle and play max defense with your income in pacific. Not lose anzac on J3. Plus, I miscalculated gibraltar so atlantic was useless too. Japan was already up to 80 and that was just going to grow.

Japan was rich, and the allied units were grossly out of position due to poor allied play.
