Hmmm though… yes, my debate would about why killing people who cause a disturbance in movie theatres should be legal. That includes cellphones going off, kicking seats, throwing anything, talking with friends, trying to be funny by yelling out comments during the movie…any of those should result in immediate death.

Hey all! I haven’t been posting much in the last few days…but that’s not what this post is for. I was arrested January 30th and linked to some previous “incidents”, which I will be sentenced for on July 17th. July 15th will probably be my last day on the boards for a little while. I’m not sure how much time I’m looking at, but it’s for some pretty serious crimes, so we’ll see!

Just lettin’ you all know :wink: I’m not too upset about this or anything, I’m actually looking forward to it. This IS my first offence, so yeah, I just wanna serve my sentence and move on with a respectable life. Good luck gaming all :)

Soldier Of Fortune 2: Double Helix for PC is the coolest first-person shooter I’ve ever played. I don’t think anyone else here has played it; I started a topic awhile ago about it, but no one responded. Ah well! Keep an eye out for it, it’s awesome (the game, not the topic i made) :)

you are asking CC where i get the idea that god does not exist? like someone else on here posted (im too lazy to look for who) i used to in fact go to church, but one day i woke up (not literally one individual day) and realized the fallacy in believing in god. i rationalized (for myself at least) that there could not logically exist a god. and let me just say, i apologize if i have come off as hostile towards those who believe in god. partially its me having a good time mocking you, and partially its because i sometimes get a little worked up over these things (especially when i know when you idiots are wrong :) ) on that note, has anyone here seen Devil’s Advocate? i think satan (al pacino) gives an interesting description of god (a sadist, among other things). (Janus takes a step back, looks at the world for a moment) given the circumstances, i would say the description, if god is real, would be an accurate portrayal.

Fair enough. Only thing is people starting new threads which could easily have been answered by reading through old ones, so that’s why you could create a whole reference thing. Nah though guess you’re right, no need to. Good thing I didn’t vote yet! Now I can put it as “whatever, dude…” 8)

Hmmm…but maybe you could keep some of the old threads (mainly under the axis and allies forum + the expansions) as reference? Like make a whole new section of the website for reference (eg. rules about bidding, but label all the references clearly) so then maybe you’d have less people creating unnecessary threads which had already been answered before. I’m not sure if this is possible, and obviously it’s easier for me to say then for you guys to do it, just an idea.

It is a fact that alcohol IS a “drug”. I got into some trouble with the law recently…my lawyer told me it would be a good idea to talk to a counselor, just so they can say I’m NOT an alcoholic or anything (I only had 2 beers the night of the arrest). But anyways, so I met with her a few times, and I had been telling her “nope, I don’t smoke, don’t do any drugs, just drink sometimes.” Then she went on to explain that alcohol IS in fact a drug.

I went to an international school in Holland, and I was the only Canadian for a little while. lol and everyone makes fun of each other there, so of course I had to put up with the whole “Eh?” thing… ah yes, and how could I forget the “does Canada even HAVE toasters?” etc :wink:

I realize the orange juice/gasoline mix isn’t actually napalm…I read that the movie creators originally had actual working bomb recipes included in the movie, lol but they thought best of it, so they put in the fake one. Luckily we have boards like this where we can clarify these things for the kids. :wink:

I know that Matrix: Revolutions is coming out in theatres in November, but I think I’m going to be in jail by then :-?.. it’s a shame, cuz I was really looking forward to seeing that in theatres! So you think once they have all 3 released, maybe in the future they’ll have some kinda Matrix thing where they play all 3 in a row in the theatre?

I’m an atheist, by the way. Used to do the whole church thing, was raised as a Christian, but just gave it up by myself. No particular reason, just got tired of it. I found a reason to be against it the other day though! If I live a good life, I’m a good influence on other lives, I try to make the world a better place, I’m a nice person, if I had a family, etc, but just DIDNT believe in God or any religion…and me not being let into heaven for that. I think if there is a heaven, it should be for the decent people, regardless of religion :-?

Ha! Haven’t you seen The Simpsons? There was a comet coming for them, but they found some way to destroy it or deflect it or something. If we can remember what they did, there’s hope for us yet.
