      @Shakespeare:

      LITKO already has airbase  & naval tokens.

      Where? I can’t seem to find them on their website.

      Has there been any head-way made with this project?

      @Emperor_Taiki:

      For the German tank i’d like the short barreled Panzer IV to use as an early war tank and the Tiger for mid-late war.

      The Panzer III was obsolete by 1943, i would rather see a Stug III.

      I agree that the Panzer IV, with the short barrel 75mm, would be the perfect choice for an early/mid war tank. Especially considering the fact that the Pz. IV (in all variants) was the most produced German tank during the war.

      This is another very interesting project. I’d be willing to support it. Here’s my two-cents on tokens: I’d like to see a token with an airbase on one side & naval base on the flip side.

      As I mentioned over on BGG, I would use the infantry pieces in Memoir '44 as Special Weapons Assets. I can even add the tanks to give more color & flavor to my game.

      You can’t be a business & yet, take donations. What you do is support that business by buying their products/services. This then gives them capital to expand their product line or offer more services.  FMG is not doing this as charity work for the A&A fan. They believe that there is a developing market for their products & that is why they are investing in it.

      @calvinhobbesliker:

      Has any axis player won by capturing the US?

      I’m not sure it is physically possible. The U.S. alone has 30 IPC’s. That can produce ten infantry units every round. The Germans will have to invest in at least triple the units the U.S. has, plus the cost of transports & escorts to get them to the Eastern Seaboard.

      @Imperious:

      If i was at WOTC they would have problems. I would Gordon Ramsey them mercilessly till i was kicked out or i kicked them out.

      I can picture that…. It would be the Kitchen Nightmares of the boardgaming industry. That would be sweet!

      First of all, I am not in any way discounting someone’s right to complain about an inferior product.  Secondly, I find it terribly ironic that your opening sentence was unclear and confusing at best.  Thirdly, I am not insinuating that online posts are the same thing as printed rulebooks, or that I am paying big money to read said online posts.  What I’m saying is that it is excessively difficult to take a complaint seriously when the complaint is written in a manner that is so extremely juvenile and ironic.  It looks like a joke post, to be honest.  Even if someone has an excellent point, it is hard to agree and respect that point when it is so horrendously misspelled.  If the writer didn’t care enough to correct spelling errors, why should I care enough to read his complaints?  Plus, I don’t want to look ignorant by lending credence to a ridiculously spelled post by agreeing with its butchered content.

      @Tim:

      ok, well i still think the rules are porly writen in this area.  it would be eazyer for me if it said you were attacking the space. it realy makes no sence the way it is writen.  but thanks for clarifing.  also i was confused on how was attacking but figured that you cant attack on someone elses turn.  that sentence in the rules would be purfect if it didn’t have the word “defending” in it.

      This coming from a guy who can’t even spell correctly. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black….

    • Landing Craft (Table Tactics) Questions

      Has anyone played with Table Tactics’ A&A Accessories? If so, I have two questions concerning landing craft. The rules state that a LC must start & end its movement on land.

      1. So how does the U.S. build & deploy landing craft without having to build another IC?

      2. Could transports ship landing craft to territories without an IC?

      They will, I have complete faith in FMG coming through on their promise. We don’t want to rush this. Otherwise the production values will be no better than a WotC boardgame……

      @questioneer:

      The colors haven’t changed since Revised (early 2004) and they have kept them in all of their games since- you guys have NO idea what you are talking about!! :x

      I have to disagree with you both on this point. The fact is that the colors have changed since 2004. For example In D-day & Battle of the Bulge, the British forces represented are almost an off white. Both of these games came out post Revised. What about the lighter gray used for the Germans in D-day? Or how about the dull, almost translucent appearance of both the American & Japanese forces in Guadalcanal? We’re not even getting into how low quality the molds for AA50 & D-day were. I think you guys are obsessing over something that really doesn’t matter. Especially when we have absolutely no guarantee that Wizards won’t change the colors again.

      But what happens when the OOB colors change again? Will FMG have to keep changing the dice colors to keep up? It is my opinion that FMG should keep their pieces matched to their dice. Screw whatever the idiots at Wizards come up with next.

      @FieldMarshalGames:

      1. We will be matching the colours to our COMBAT DICE, which are very close to the AAA colours (Which change from game to game)

      Jeremy is correct on this one. In all of the A&A games that I own, Hasbro has changed the colors or shades of colors in each title. Sometimes even in different production runs of the same title (Can anyone say Red Japanese in AAP). I currently have German pieces in five distinct differing shade of gray, & British in at least four shades of tan.

      Let’s first make this a profitable proposition for FMG before we start demanding all of our little pet units/pieces.
