Probably 55/45 my favor and the transport is saved in a draw. Take the Scottish and French as casualties first. My losses would be fractionally more expensive since my first loss is 2 ipcs more expensive. My vote would be to scramble out of both air bases into 109 and charge the pilots to shoot straight and pray a blessing on them.

What if the playbook was a map with the starting set up icons in it and you drew arrors on it. Or just a blank map and we used p for plane, a for artillery, etc and used arrows and at the bottom gave each bunch a designation “64th” and an assignment for example: “surge into Finland as soon as there is or you can make a declaration of war.” That’s all I have time for. @martin I’ve even read the entire rule book for youtube. Even at grasshopper’s tournament there were rules questions. In fact, at that point in time, I had only played global 4x.

When we playtest, we have to go over the current rules with a ton of “dropped” or “modified” rules in the back of our minds. I won one game of imperial borders in the last round. the next game, I wanted to try a variation on the theme. they changed the rules and I got smoked. Embarrassingly so. L said played War Room after 6 mo of concentrating on his new project and remarked, I have to learn how to play this game again.
