It really wasn’t… And I thank you for showing more of the reasons that the game is unplayable. Shame on them for making a game like this and shame on us for paying $60 for another tweak in the Revised game.
I’m here to find a way to get my friends to play again. I hear talk about how a single bomber can make a difference for Russia and yet, I see no way that the Allies can win if the Axis play by a very simple tactic. Infantry + air.
As I said before, Interesting… I will see if I can keep Russia from being such a target on the first move. The only battle that didn’t go well for the Axis was 2 sub vs 1 dst, 2 trn. Everything else was gravy.

It’s not big deal; if the first battle had gone better for russia, I think I would have played it differently. As it was, I gave away the British navy. i should have taken the same chance and who knows? When Russia lost everything on the first German counter, I should have just gone for the full attack on the Japan BB, CAR, 2FIG with 2 CRU, 2 FIG, CAR, SUB in the hopes that the first roll would give me a victory. So far, I haven’t learned anything new; the game is so imbalanced that reckless play by the axis is rewarded.
Besides, i get to download and review games played by experts. I am really looking forward to more lessons. I’m going to keep playing the Allies +12 and losing. that’s fine. I’ll figure it out.

it’s been a real fustercluck. Great moves combined with poor dice mean Game Over Man, Game Over! Where is Bill Paxton when you need him? German defensive dice have been brutal…
It was 5 fighters and a bomber, AA missed and the first German attack was pretty hard. The Russian response was, as they say, meh… :-(

As soon as Russia and India fall, I will resign… Really played Brits poorly. Pretty much gave away the carrier/transport/fighter, would have been better served hitting the Japan navy with it and taking my chances… Still learning… that I absolutely HATE dice… :-o
