I need to update my Germany playbook there are a few strategies I need to add… For those that like to Dow J3, they might be interested in Germany making a play for Egypt with naval and transports.

The good old take southern France g1 take Gibraltar g2 and swing into the medit sea… You get can a big force to hit egypt.

Obviously pushing Russia becomes slower so you buy Arty g2and g3 mech later, but if things go as planned the income for Europe will be really solid and g8 or g9 Russia will be a thing.

I like the spanish beach strategy from time to time.

If you can convoy japan and take korea directly… that is always a good thing… but that rarely works out because of naval bases and airbases, usually it is best to attack the money islands (easier and more reliable) from ANZAC you can hit everything you need to. You start with two transports in the pacific, I recommend buying your naval pieces round 1 and maybe getting a transport round 2 (you start with infantry on the mainland so you don’t need to buy that until after 2 or 3 more boats).

Personally I like 2 subs… lately I like to full scramble so the 2 subs to attack round 1 (because my air is dead) is welcome.

I take extra money and shove it on london itself because I am yoloing.

The main allied strategies still hold up. The one that becomes more dominant would be shuffling 20 units a round into Spain from USA… But even this has its flaws.

Okay tried more UK on Japan action… found that Italy makes UK money quickly and that it is not worth it. LOL.

I didn’t do jack squat for attacks round 1. I just sunk the transport and dd, grabbed the inf +aa gun off malta and drop it to egypt.

So has anyone taken the medit fleet and shoved it toward Japan? I managed to do this with great success. I find that sometimes it is better than losing fleet to counter attacks. Haven’t done it enough for a full review

Try starting USA off with more infantry. Russian bomber. More Africa Corp for UK.  Or any mixture if not doing a bid

I win 20 strait games on triple a lobby plus 10 on the forum… Mostly as the axis against bids of 12-21… Meanwhile some guy says oob is balanced and the allies should win 50%. Yeah ok.

I have tried to invade Japan many times (given 10% or above) and I have failed each time :(.  One time I even had a 70% if he scrambled and lost the naval battle (naval battle was 70%). MAN I LOST EVERYTIME~!

I have lost manchuria and korea early. It is not that bad.

12-16 for most casual players is fine. 17-30 is ranked / tournament play.

I just push them all to Russia. USA can have Norway.

So you don’t see sea lion as a standard as much because uk can defend itself if it buys and doesn’t do anything silly like transport units off London… Usually uk picks up from east canada and can add to London if needed

Now a days if I want to get wild, I buy bombers g1 and g2 to seriously blow away the middle East with air and Italy walks through it. If USA goes Europe italys 30 ipc bankroll holds up really well.

But yeah Anzac or UK pacific usually doesn’t get fic… Usually it stays Japan for the whole game. China can’t leave China and if there is one thing Japan does it is hold that area as long as possible for income or blast india… Otherwise India becomes a second Russia making Europe win impossible and Pacific win requires India out usually.

Okay Japan can Dow France and Japan only loses the national objective, no war or USA enter… Some players do this in order to place a minor ic.

Fighter Scotland is better than saving, again it is something you planned on buying anyway so slap it down.
