I think that you are reading the convoy raid rules the way I did for the first time.

It is an unusual system, unique to Axis and Allies.  It is not that raids hit on a 3 or less, well actually they do since 4 thru 6 is a miss, but if you roll 3 or less, that’s how many ipcs damage you do, up to the territory limit.

Since the Phillipines have a max value of 2, that 3 counts as a raid of 2.  Japan loses 2 ipcs from raids.

I’m looking for 1 more 1 vs. 1 game.  Sorry Vance, we just played and we should find new opponents.

Unfortunately, Mike Massino passed near the end of last April.  He was part of our gaming group in Denver before he moved to Arizona.
