From game start, yes the additional ipc level of the islands is not changed in the ipc tracker

Even when French is not liberated. After the French turn, you count all allies or axis ipc -

@barnee, because of the extra ipc value given to the pacific islands, the islands become extremely important.
For the axis it is vital that Japan attacks this islands as fast as possible before the allies will get the upper-hand in the pacific. -

@Trout if the allies go all in on Germany, Japan will dominate the entire pacific and slowly taking Russia. Germany can hold. The axis should definitely win this

@Trout Yes if you capture in round 3-4 the money islands/ phillipens also taking china then the Japanese will be very strong, and if the US is doing nothing there, they must be able to take out India and press on into the Middle East.

Did you go for the Atlantic with Germany? Or did you go for Russia ?
If Germany decides to go for the Atlantic, the German u-boats will counter the first fleet of the US.
Which means that Italy has 5-6 rounds to push into the Middle East, together with Germany.
The 8 paratroopers together with landing crafts standing on Greece together with Italy paratroopers and landing crafts are a huge treat danger to the —>- Caucasus
Syrië
Egypt
If possible take Greece with Italy.
So when you build a airfield or harbour the allies will not see it coming.My experience till so far with the axis is:: leave russia, take out Novgorod. When the army conscription kicks in. Retreat. Reorganise and with new forces attack again.
Butt before this, you should be in the Middle East and Egypt with the axis.The first games when I play the house rule expansion the allies dominated .
Butt now it’s really a 50/50.
I think because of the logistics it’s harder to win with the allies - Caucasus

This strategy depends also what is the allies doing.
You should not build a minor factory in Greece, just use your rail way capacity.The most important thing is:
Italy and Germany should move as one.
So for example if Italy in round 1 takes Alexandria Germany can send in round 2 some fighters to support Alexandria. So Italy makes a move and Germany follows. In this way the allies cannot counter attack because you would be to strong in this stage of the game.
So round 1
Germany builds up 5 sup
6 waffen ss infantry and 2 waffen ss artillery.Italy builds 2 landing craft and 1 paratrooper in Rome.
Round 2 Germany likely will have 85 ipc
So you should build:
8 paratrooper/ can jump to Italy. Or Romania.
1 panzer general.
2 landing craft /// strategic rail movement to greece
5 subs // 3 in the mediterranean, also Remember if you move you’re “remaining” italian ships to seazone 93 to eliminate the French ships, you can use the factory with Germany to build subs or a carrier in that seazone to counter the remaining British fleet.
The best thing which could happen is that the British attacked the Italian fleet in round 1The Russian plan is to take out Novgorod as fast as possible, butt in round 5 you need to retreat till you’re own borders this is okay.
By that time Germany can build up a huge force, and push again. -

And also impressive to achieve a victory like this concluding all of Africa and the Middle East for the Axis.
It seems like the Japanese navy did not lose a single transport ? 12 transports still alive.Butt I see lots of errors from the Allies player.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
I know the pressure can be very touch and a mistake is very fast to make butt ,
( that’s the nice thing about these game reports, you can visualise and watch the game reports very good. And see what tactics are used and learn something )
First of all:-
The factory in South Africa was not made underground and been destroyed.

The harbour on Kwangtung is still intact.
( also on the phillippens both harbour and airfield still intact !) -
The US should invade Africa immediately instead of Normandy.

In the previous round all u-boats retreated.
So when Germany takes London there would be more money 😎Like 5-6 u boats did convoy raiding.
The last 4 rounds the UK lost every round at least 10 ipc
And Yes the German u-boats attacked US convoys butt only 1 time.The English defeated the sub with a destroyer and a tactical bomber.

Germany builds up 6 landing crafts in the first round together with 6 waffen infantry and 2 waffen artillery.
Germany was preparing for Sealion
Germany captured Paris, Normandy, Southern France and Finland and Yugoslavie.Russia
Russia prepared for an German invasion all troops joined together in Bryanks.
Russia bought 4 paratroopers and Mines on a massive scale.Japan
The Japenese bought 2 minor industry in China in the first round, The Japanese fought only in China in the first 3 rounds.
US
The US is building landingcrafts and armoured infantry on a massive scale to reinforce Russia in the Pacific in a strategic well planned operation.
UK
The UK build 1 carrier and 2 destroyers together with infantry those units where all placed in london, Because of the heavy build up of German landingcrafts.
All surviving British ships moved to seazone 92 in the first round.
In the second round the british navy was send to seazone 110.
2 carriers battleship and 2 cruisers together with four planes and 2 destroyers.Italy and Anzac and France are all preparing their forces to attack in further rounds.
Inportant events which took place in round 3-6.
Germany attacked in round 3 the UK navy which was in seazone 110.
Germany attacked with:
1 Battleship
1 Cruiser
3 Subs
5 fighter units
5 tactical bomber
2 strategic bombersThe UK defended with:

TobrukAlso Iraq was captured early in the game.

because of this Russia was very rich the entire game.The Japanese

All Japanese units are send to India.
because of this and the lack of units produced there in the early stages of the game India was taken by Japan.
The Japanese bought a huge navy.
and in the end of this game the Japanese where able to capture Manilla.
with heavy losses on both sides.The US
The US launched an massive army in Sovjet far east.

4 armoured infantry
1 US marine
1 artillery
3 mec infantryThese units where a pain in the ass for the Japanese the entire game and liberated China in the final stages of this Game.
NOTE The Game ended in early 1945.

At the end of this game:
The Allies where on the offensive on a massive scale.
Russia together with the US liberated China.Germany was fighting on all sides of his borders,
with almost no air units left it was hard to counter all attacks.
Germany could not take over italy because of 1 italian artillery on vacation in Morroco.Still Germany had an decent army on the eastern front butt could not push forward because The russians simply outnumberd the Germans.
The UK was sending a huge army to India to recapture it…
in Early 1945 the game ended because there was no time to complete the game.
( had to cath the plane) butt it was a very good game.
So the game in this point was a draw.However, if the game had continued for like 3-5
The Allies were in my opinion on the winning hand.Really looking forward to play next time.

Yes, also note that italy was down to 10 ipc every round because of the massive convoy raiding.

and some questions i need to ask:In the game you can place you’re units before the attack starts, this needs to be done at the end of each round.
Only waffen units from germany and marines from america and the UK can be placed before the attack fase.Also when i attack a seazone next to england, in you’re game i can pick if i would scramble with the UK.
Butt i am playing Germany.So these are most inportant questions for me.
