Yes, in the last round Germany took over Italy.
In the previous rounds Italy could not retreat his troops from Africa because a allied blockade, in the Mediterranean Sea.

It’s going to be to hard for Japan when India has around 10-20 mines laying on Burma or elsewhere.

Looks great.
You are the best opponent I ever played against.
It’s just impressive how quickly you can adapt and in 2-3 rounds the game is going you’re way.
I hope, that in the coming years, I will have a chance to beat the Captain. ( I think this is almost impossible right now) butt with a lot of drinks maybe luck is on our side.

Global 1940,
First game report of 2024.

This is the second last game report of this game.

Players:
Axis: Beserker
Allies: Cornelis Post

Ipc Income. ( without bonus )

Axis 98
Allies 171

Germany:
From Early 1940, Germany, attacks the British navy, in the first round. After this germany dedicated all his military for operation Middle East. Did only build two U-boats so far.
In Early 1941 germany attacks Russia.
The Germans fights successfully with Italian forces in the Middle East.
Massive troops, paratroopers and a panzer general are ready to set foot in Syria.
Massive battles to come in the Middle East.

Soviet Union:
The Sovjets where attacked in the first round by Japan. This was a surprise attack.
Butt the Russians held ground in the following turn and take out all Japanese land forces. Also the allies sent 3 AA guns to buryatia, to destroy 3 Japanese aircraft in round 2.

Japan:
The Japanse invaded Russia in round 1 which activated the Mongolian pact.
No Japanese operations where held in the pacific so far.

China, is doing great so far, butt needs airsupport

United States:

The US build a massive fleet in the pacific and the Atlantic.
In the 4 round, The US take out the Caroline islands.

United Kingdom:
The UK is fighting a war of attrition in Europe, with massive small scale attacks to weaken the axis.
In the first rounds the British were withdrawing everywhere for the big axis treat.

The British reinforcements all positions slowly successfully to counter the axis in the upcoming rounds.

In round 4 the British attack the Italian fleet in the Mediterranean Sea which led to the end of the English and the Italian fleet.

Italy.

Italy is fighting successfully with Germany in Afrika/Middle East. With the blitz krieg tactic and being backed up by the luftwaffe, the English need to retreat many times.

Anzac.

Because of no Japanese operations in the pacific.
Anzac is becoming stronger.
Anzac will soon join the US navy in the Caroline islands. And will fight a war of attrition.

The Russians placed 8 mines in Belarus.

Also Germany placed 2 mines in the coast of Holland, Danmark and Norway.

Yes i think the Allies already toke the upperhand in round 4, I already told Beserker, butt he disagree. He has a special plan, ready to execute

Looks like a imminent defeat for the Axis!

@barnee we always count the ipc tracker. If you conquer an island for example Caroline islands, then the US will get 3 extra ipc income.
Also japan decrease 3 ipc income.
It’s very important to use a ipc chart card.
Always checking the total income.
