Can someone walk me through step by step how to do this? I clicked on the link and followed the instructions and it still didn’t work. I’ve played A&A Anniversary and A&A Pacific 1940 on this site before but for some reason the Europe 1940 map is not working. Thanks in advance!

RE: Southern California: looking for playersposted in Player Locator
How come there’s SO many players in So Cal, yet no one ever gets together?! Let’s get a bunch of people together and play sometime. Or, at least someone else willing to get together and play? Let’s start w/two(myself and someone else) and build from there? =)

Sub question…posted in Axis & Allies Pacific 1940
Have a question. This applies to A&A Pacific 1940. Let’s say the US has 1 BB, 1 AC, 1 CC, 1 DD & 2 Subs in SZ6 surrounding Japan. Japan attacks w/a whole bunch of air, 1 AC(brought along to absorb hits) & is also invading w/2 Transports loaded w/troops. The Jap player asks the US player if he wants his subs to fight or submerge. The US player says obviously fight b/cuz his subs can only hit the AC. At some point in the battle, all the US surface ships are gone, due to the Jap air, the Jap AC is gone but the US subs remain b/cuz no one could hit them. What happens next?
Can the Jap Trans ignore the subs?
Do the Jap Trans automatically die?
Do the US Subs get one shot at the Jap Trans. I’m confused as to exactly what happens.
Thanks!

RE: Transport loading questionposted in Axis & Allies Pacific 1940
Krieghund, I’m confused. Do I have this right? If a transport accompanied by a cruiser, moves into a seazone w/an enemy sub, the cruiser stays in the seazone w/the enemy sub & asks if the enemy sub wants to fight or submerge but the transport moves out of the seazone(b/cuz it picked up an inf in the seazone & is on it’s way to invade an island in another seazone). The sub would get a “pot shot” at the transport? What is the cruiser accompanied the transport on the whole journey?
Can the sub submerge(i.e. not fighting the cruiser) and still get the “pot shot” at the transport?

RE: What are the original Japanese territories and islands?posted in Axis & Allies Pacific 1940
Yes because luckily I have the actual boardgame map. But on the electronic map there is no Rising suns. So I guess, as the other poster put it, it’s everything that starts off in orange with the exception of Siam.

RE: What are the original Japanese territories and islands?posted in Axis & Allies Pacific 1940
I mean what islands and territories on the map board are considered, “originally Japanese?” There is nothing marked w/a Rising sun on the map board besides the territories which have been taken by the Japanese but these aren’t “originally Japanese.” I would like to know if the following islands and territories are originally Japanese : Korea, Iwo Jima, Okinawa, Formosa, Hai, Pau, Marianas, Marshall Islands or Caroline Islands? I’m assuming Iwo Jima, Okinawa, Formosa are but what about Hai, Pau, Korea, Marianas, Marshall and Caroline?

J1 attack. When does the US get their extra 40 IPC's?posted in Axis & Allies Pacific 1940
If Japan declares war on the US on Turn 1, when does the US get the extra 40 IPC’s? At the beginning of the US turn or during the Collect Income phase?

No, playing this version of A&A Pacific 1940. Still interested? AAA is something different. I believe Hasbro asked them to take down the site. Not sure it exists anymore. If you’re still interested, let me know and I can forward you the instructions to download the battlemap and how to play.
