Actually it doesn’t seem to specify in either version that you must declare French Resistance the first time Western Europe comes under Allied control.  Could be the first time, or on any subsequent recapture, but only once in total.

For OOB it seems to be declarable at the moment of Allied capture; for LHTR, declarable during UK’s Mobilize Units phase if W.Eur is under Allied control.

One of the nice things about the Nashorn is that it is relatively fast so can usually get away from vehicles.

      1x Nashorn
      1x Dornier
      1x SS-Haupsturmfurher
      1x Grizzled Veteran
      3x SS-Panzergrenadier
      1x Panzerfaust
      1x Werwolf Partisan
      2x Barbed Wire

The Dornier is your best bet against enemy aircraft as it at least has the possibility of shooting them down before they can do anything.
The Werwolf is to take out enemy depots, and the Panzerfaust is to add some AT support.
Barbed Wire to protect the Nashorn’s location from enemy infantry such as PTs or Partisans, or to simply block routes for his ground forces.

It’s not the best army ever made, and has some serious faults

Europe is a smaller scaled land based game. Lots of small provinces. Pacific’s scale is considerably bigger and deals primarily with naval and air power.

I personally enjoy Pacific a lot. It has more strategy than Europe in my opinion. Both are great though.

My fault for being lazy. Yes there were more Italian “conquests” during the war. But I thought it funny that the Italians took etheopia. And to give credit where credit is due. Some Italian units fought bravely in Africa. Not through (or for) thier own government, but by the example of Rommel. The man was an inspiration to them as well as the Germans who fought.

I used to play a comp game that illustrated the Italian military very correctly. I got the hugest kick out of building up thier tech and having them march into moscow. The friend I played was not as good as I was. The only thing better than beating him… was to have him be defeated by the Italians lol.

      @djensen:

Just find a historical reference book that has maps or use the A&A map directly. One thing my friend with one of his maps was to create mountains on the map to give it some texture.

well i was planning of using most of the a&a revised map
but i’m going to change somethings in europe and africa so
      i can add Italy :D
