Don’t need to do anything special, just load the save and click through without selecting casualties and see if it gives you the option to retreat or if it skips directly to the next round. The Allied planes in FIC are on an air base and could land in Java, Shan State, Siam, Burma as well for what it’s worth.

However for the sake of continuing the game I’ll edit away all the remaining US units from the battle and let you pick 3 casualties.
