Hey, I don’t mean to pull anyone from this awesome community, but I found a supplemental site that offers a database for posting Haves and Wants. It’ll also match trades with other users. I thought that I read somewhere that 1 soldier represented a unit and something about the tanks, too. I’ll look around for where I read that (probably in the rules somewhere) :|

I work at a site called Miniature Trading and they just posted all of the land units from those sets on a database for trading.

I’ll see if I can get one up for War at Sea since the basic data info is there for the land units.

I saw that there was a database on the AAM homesite for the Tank ( :|) sets, but is there one for War at Sea?

Is it possible to capture the Objective with the submarines?

How accurately are the release dates for these sets? For instance, I play other collectible games too, but the release dates are usually pushed back a couple of weeks or so.

Those are books? I only knew them as movies.

Just finished Good Shepherd and it was pretty good. I recommend it if you like WWII Naval maneuvers and action.

Any Peoria players out here? I’m new to the game and need help picking through the rules.

I have a large list of wants and small list of haves if you don’t mind, but if you can help me chip away at this huge list, I’d be really appreciative. All of my offers are mint, in the individual bags, or in the case of War at Sea, in the protective plastic they come with. Also, all of the minis come with the stat cards. I don’t know. I know the movie you’re referring to, but I’d say they are unrelated, though I haven’t seen the movie and am not finished with the book.

I picked up “The Good Shepherd” by C.S. Forester. He usually writes Horation Hornblower, but this one is about a Convoy Escort Commander who is trying to protect his convoy during a 48 hour period when a wulfpack shows up. Its pretty intense.

Have you read any other WWII fictional books that are pretty good?

I got my first pack of D-Day booster last night, and I think its a set I really can get into it. I got the Fockewulf FW190a (though I wanted the ME 110 or P-38) and the Mk VII Tetrarch. Its interesting that they were able to develop glider technology to drop a tank by glider. Do any of you know of any photo-footage of this tank dropped by glider? I’d like to see it. Also, what are some other good units to look out for from the D-Day set?

I was wondering if any of the sets dealt with secret weapons. A lot of WWII video games will eventually have some type of secret weapon to use, such as rocket packs, or some of the strange aircraft concepts like the F5U Flying Pancake http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_Pancake.

If there aren’t, would you want experimental and secret weapons included?
Me, no. I think it deviates too much from the fact of the game. I always hated when video games made a sequel based on the experimental weapons.
