I’m looking to buy a case of D-Day, Reserves, or even Contested Skies (in that order of preference), but I’m having a hard time finding Online stores that still have them. Do you know of any places? I’ve tried Miniature Market and Popular Collections.

I got a couple of boosters today and the War At Seas booster had all extras in. So, I updated my list.

How does this work? The Sandbagged Machine Gun Team has Dug In ability and Speed of 0, so when its army placement time, you place them at your side of the map, but thats it? So, how do you use these guys effectively? Are they solely useful in scenarios, or is there a better way to use them? Can you transport them via Sd Kfz 251?

I’m having a hard time seeing the value in this unit.

Where did all of this come from? Is there a new FAQs?

Sorry, I haven’t updated this and I’ll get to it ASAP. But, my HAVES has gotten significantly smaller.

Good call. I ended up buying my iPhone last year when it was mucho dollars. I used money from a huge eBay auction I sold. Then, a month later, iPhones dropped $200. DANGIT! Of course, back then, I wasn’t introduced to A&A.

I just downloaded a free iPhone/iPod Touch app that has all of the A&A mini cards in it. You can create armies by sets or nations and keep those cards in there at hand to check out the stats as you play. I know you keep all the cards when you play, but I always feel cluttered with all those cards and keeping track of them, too. I am new though.

Anyway, its in the App store as A&AM. Just a little FYI

First off, I’m really new at playing A&A minis, so after I ask the question and you want to roll your eyes and say, “What a dummie!”, just remember my rookiee status.

Last weekend, I employed a Wehrmacht Expert Sniper in my army. During deployment, I had no great cover, so I thought in a couple of turns, I could get him in cover. So, first round my opponent pulls in the IL-10 Sturmovik and strafes the heck outta my sniper. Now he’s dead, but he did eliminate a soldier during the Assault phase.

So, what I want to know is can Aircraft attack Snipers? I understand that if I had cover, he probably would have been okay, but it still doesn’t make sense to me that it happened that way.

Again, its a rookiee question, don’t  :roll:

The Halifax GR Mk. V also gets 10 Bomb attack die.

Don’t forget the Ju-87’s (GE and IT) both have 9 bomb attack die.

But still, you’d need several wings of bombers to get through a Battleship. First you need to get past the Antiair assault phase, and anything that was not aborted gets a shot.

How do you use Aircraft effectively in WAS? Is it with numbers, the more the better? What balance or ratio do you use with aircraft to surface ships?

Just a pretty quick question:

If my Main guns, secondary guns, and/or tertiary guns are in range of multiple targets, may I assign 1 set of guns on 1 target, and a different set of guns on a different target?

Or, do all sets of guns must fire on a single target during the Surface Attack Phase?

Are there any Convoy escorts scenarios for the land units of AAM. I’ve seen them for War at Sea, but I wondered if anyone made these for the land and played them.

Very helpful for research. I’m using the Osprey books too for correct uniforms.

My main question, though, is about how to start creating your own miniatures. Is there a website you know off the top of your hand that’ll show you step by step what to use and do to create something?

I’ve looked around, but I keep finding things about miniatures for doll houses and stuff.

Any idea on what to expect? Are there any hopes you guys have that will be included in this set?

I’m looking into re-creating the scene from when Lord Nelson dies aboard the HMS Victory. I know it has nothing to do with WWII minis, but I figured I could find more experts here than at other places.

What I want to know is what is the first step? Carving the clay?
